It's November and the Longhorns are #3 in the nation and tied at #1 in the SEC with aggy. We are 8 days away from the first game against aggy since Case derped down the field to setup Tucker for victory over aggy 13 years ago. Renewed rivalry game, SEC championship and playoffs are on the line.

Clearly, this board is for discussing whether Quinn is a pussy or not.

Sir, we also need to debate all aspects of the rankings in as many ways as human possible and debate the success or lack thereof by Deion. Plus there's the god damn tamale talk to deal with just ask @InkaUtexas.

So.. don't diminish the cloak room sports shit to just Ewers love/hate, please.

Well who do you think would make better tamales? Quinn or Arch?

What happens when they put up large displays of Nazi and other white supremacist tweets alongside their ads in court?

Not a lawyer, but fairly certain they were doing screencaps of the Nazi/racist/disinformation stuff being displayed with their ads when it was happening just in case Elmo threatened them/sued them (I believe he was threatening them when it was happening).

Seems like they could make a decent claim that their brands were being damaged by Elmo allowing that shit on there.

They should counter sue his ass for reputation damage.

I’m sure they didn’t have a clause in their contract that specifically spells out “don’t run our ads next to white supremacist and Nazi shit” but I’d have to think they have something in their contracts about not running their ads next to unsavory content.

Also, Leon is ensuring that these advertisers leave Twitter and don’t come back as long as he owns it. Maybe he wins and they fulfill their current contracts, but they ain’t renewing.

Also could be a sign that Twitter really needs their money.

He really is a dumbass.  More like 2,200km but still a decent range. I have my issues with the F-35, but at least I know what it’s supposed to be used for.  Leon doesn’t have any power to actually cut anything, so he’s going to impotently rail about this for the next week.

Lmao.

Man, Elmo is gonna get trump to kill the F35 project or something at this rate. Definitely something that he will target with his DOGE club

I could picture him seeing the B-2 or B-21 and saying “it’s a shit design, there’s no tail on it, don’t these fools know that cameras and AI can detect tail-less aircraft?”

You need a man cave, a Batmobile, and a powerhouse, and it would be nice to have something that makes people snap their necks and glare. You want an overpowered, overpriced, over-the-top giant fridge on wheels.

They can’t ignore you anymore.

Maybe the attention isn’t what you want, maybe it’s too radical for your neighbors…… but you don’t care—you are old, tired, and cranky, and you’ve had it up to here with politics and the media.

Sometimes, you just want to exit the parking lot by driving over the parking stops and on the sidewalk. You are over those brushes by the house but don’t want to cut them—drive over them. Do you need 850hp in a 3-ton fridge? Who cares about what we need? We are animals driven by a passion for what we want.

You deserve it. Life is tough; answer back tougher. The world is full of nonsense, so drive something that makes even less sense. Enough of people giving you headaches – it’s time to give back.

You WANT a Cybertruck because you deserve it.”

Irony of ironies…a family member of ours has managed to alienate himself from the larger group with his Trump/Rogan/Elon fanboi-ness.
What is this family member’s very good job?
He works on the F-35.

Jesus Christ this man is so fucking dumb it’s almost comical. I bet he really thinks he is smarter than the guys that do nothing but spend every hour of every day thinking of how we can make our tools even more stealthy.

Well, Errol seems to be a liar, too.  Yes, her parents, more accurately father, conveniently named Haldeman, were not actual Nazi supporters or Nazis, but complete kooks, anti-semites and racists, and, to top it off a chiropractor.  Probably of the type that believed he could cure disease through manipulation.

I can tell you that Elon makes a choice to be the narcissistic clown that he is.

That’s not really how personality disorders work. Might as well tell a schizophrenic that they make the choice to have aliens performing thought insertion.

Again. I think I'll listen to the actual experts and not some fucking guy who knows nothing about the program or jets. Be it Elon or Gaetz

Calling it a failed platform is absolutely, completely and spectacularly dumb.

Both things are true.  Yet his conclusion is still rubbish, because Elon speaks in absurd absolutes.  There are numerous missions for which a larger, manned platform is the vastly superior approach, and that will remain the case for some time to come.

And if you think that the advanced militaries of the world aren't the bleeding edge of the shift to larger drones performing more complex missions, you are a dipshit who knows only a little bit, but thinks he knows a lot.  So....you're Elon.

This is all true, except we don't know his conclusions, unless we are basing it on tweets rather than detailed discussions.  And personally, I think tweets suck and the idea behind tweets sucks.

He stated his conclusion.  Yes, in a Tweet.  Because he's as simple-minded as Tweet communication.  Here's his conclusion, in his own fucking words, quoted:

Quote

The F-35 design was broken at the requirements level, because it was required to be too many things to too many people.

This made it an expensive & complex jack of all trades, master of none. Success was never in the set of possible outcomes.

And manned fighter jets are obsolete in the age of drones anyway. Will just get pilots killed.

First point: not entirely "broken," although yes, the requirement of multiple roles did indeed make it too jack-of-all-trades.  Most experts agree.

Second point: agree on the jack-of-all-trades point.  Current usage demonstrates that "success was never in the set of possible outcomes" is flat-out false.  It is already being successfully used in battle.

Third point: False.  Someday, they WILL be obsolete.  But as real-time wars being fought this very minute demonstrate, they are NOT obsolete at present.  And they will not be obsolete for many years to come.

Elon's military mindset is pretty fucking similar to this dude's:

5c105e48-0ea8-45d9-9f1f-771379535645_tex

He is the textbook Dunning Kruger case of someone who knows a fair bit about subject A, and then extrapolates that to acting as if he's an expert in subjects B-Z.  Elon isn't smart enough to know how dumb he is.

How'd it go for that dude?

Somewhat Putin-esque in the outcome.

Elon would benefit from a large glass of "be smart enough to know how dumb you are," but nope.....Elon is the world's leading expert on.....literally everything.  According to Elon, at least.
