Kawasaki's investment firm has $90 million (for now) in Tesla stock - 400,000 shares or so.

I’ve seen this Gerber “investment guru” once or twice in this thread and I honestly think beyond the #musk/kanye/trump dildo crew he’s the worst. Your firm manages 2 billion. Nothing y’all are doing is moving any market in any way.

-fuck Elon musk (and this guy as well)

I’m not sure what knock sensors do but I had an old Tacoma T100 back in the day with 225k on it. Ran great but the check engine light was on. Finally got someone to get the right code and the knock sensors were bad. They’re hard to change because they’re way down in the engine and iirc you have to basically do a top job to get to them. Anyway I did it but cheaped out on aftermarket sensors. They still threw the code. Ended up doing oems again to get the god damned check engine light to go off.

I'm sure after all of the outrage over the first attempt, this will be an environmentally benign event.

220k and still purrs like a kitten.  Spent $3k to replace the catalytic converters and that didn't get the check engine light to turn off, so I said fuck it.  I only drive a couple of times a week.

4runner with 220k and can't pass inspection is still worth $15,000

We're now at the "actually, large advertisers are the biggest oppressors of free speech" stage.

That proves he can't keep his mouth shut when he hears that other companies (and now the White House) are chiming in about the stupid shit he says on twitter, or canceling advertising as it were, and so I feel like we are not very far away from him straight-up posting a "this is the problem with Jewish people" tweet.  Depends on how much self-awareness/self-control he can practice, but he's got to be pissed off and wanting to say a lot more than he's said.

I wouldn’t do the job well….at all….but I think we’ve established that’s not an expectation anyway.

Her "job" is to take the fall.

Ford's Mach-E Rally car will be $65,000, due to upgraded powertrain and underbody protection.  Because people were just dying to get their EVs off road or something.

Will Elmo ever have any new cars/new designs outside of the Cybertruck?

Honda Prologue EV will be upper $40k and will be out in early 2024.

Btw, if anyone did not know already the Honda and Acura EV mentioned above is essentially the Chevrolet/Cadillac EV reskinned. Honda engineers reprogrammed everything to make it drive more like a Honda but it is basically the same car.

Honda is using GM's vehicle as an initial EV offering while they develop their own in house EVs that will become their 2nd generation of EV offerings.

I think he threatened a thermonuclear lawsuit earlier this year about something else but never filed it. He sounds more and more like Putin every day.

While I don’t think Rivian will die (especially with Amazon as a major investor) I completely agree that the Wagoneer is a monstrosity.

I wonder if Bladerunner (who is a character in the movie Bladerunner) would consider buying his wife a Wagoneer…

That thing is such a massive swing and a miss. Talk about absolutely blowing it on the ability to take advantage of nostalgia.

I don’t have anything against the current Equinox but I’m surprised they’re sticking with that branding for an electric vehicle. It evokes rental car energy for me.
