Embarrassed a bit I didn’t vote in the run-off, but to be fair, as soon as I got back from vacation, immediately got sick and did not have the strength to go vote yesterday + the storm. I would have felt sicker if she lost but glad she didn’t need my 1 vote

Same here, down to getting sick after vacation. I was a zombie yesterday after not getting any sleep the night before and just totally forgot about the runoff.

Even though Cook and Johnson effectively tied, only a few voting precincts mirrored the larger tie. Most likely if someone voted for cook they are heights, central Houston or med center.

My little precinct (038) had the second highest voter turnout - a whopping 290 voters - and we went for Molly 4:1. It helps that Molly lives in this precinct.

Katrina Pierson made trump news today via a leaked recording where she confirmed he dropped an n bomb. Had that come out a week ago she woulda won Rockwall county by 50 pts.

So with Phelan winning his nomination, he also gets his first challenger to Speaker, Shelby Slawson. She is a rude redhead. She’s also been embarrassingly schooled on her heartbeat bill bullshit by Donna Howard two sessions ago while a gaggle of Karens stand beside her for strength. Gets good around 2:30 when she’s can’t read definitions anymore.
