...Viewers who attempt to visit Pornhub.com are met with a lengthy statement from the site's owners, Aylo Global Entertainment, explaining the block. Redtube, another site owned by Aylo, is also blocked.

"As you may know, your elected officials in Texas are requiring us to verify your age before allowing you access to our website," the statement reads in part. "Not only does this impinge on the rights of adults to access protected speech, it fails strict scrutiny by employing the least effective and yet also most restrictive means of accomplishing Texas’ stated purpose of allegedly protecting minors."...

Ted finna use his imagination for Cory Chase now.

I think it still works in DC and Cancun, so he should be fine.

Why not just implement age verification?

this more than anything else might actually cause some people to vote differently in this state.

Also, more of my students might actually get their homework done.

Were there to be a social media movement that promotes jacking it to the Bible, I think this law would go away. Or at least it would require ID/parental permission to read the Bible.

Why don't they say this is what voting for republicans and not voting for democrats gets you? They don't care about your rights whether it be guns or speech or anything else. They just want a christo-fascist state where you are forced to live by their twisted version of morality.

Would be pretty easy to flame them there and I don't see a downside to it.

Should you be forced to verify your identity to the government before being able to go to church?
