Great story but this normally never ends well after these type runs. That Oregon State improbable run a few years ago has been followed by a 3-28, 11-21, and 13-19 seasons by Tinkle.

Keatts also has to feel like the basketball gods are on his side. His path to the Elite 8 included

Texas Tech: Extremely banged up and haven't been the same team since Williams was injured.

Oakland: 14 seed.

Marquette: A Shaka coached team and their star player (Kolek) is far from healthy.

This is about as favorable a draw an 11 seed can imagine.

Hurley is such the perfect coach for UConn. That northeastern coach.

He’s shameless. “The refs are allowing a physical style of play which obviously benefits them [Illinois].” As his 7’2” barbarian is wreaking havoc in the paint.

Bill Murray looks really rough.  Did he sleep under a bridge last night?

One of the perks of age is not giving the slightest shit about how you look in public.

My god UConn got it rolling. Not sure I’ve ever seen a 30-0 run. Illinois had the dumbest offensive game plan coming into this one.

UConn is just dominant. If they lose this tournament some one will have to play a near perfect game.

You have to have refs who are willing to get the big man in foul trouble.
