Just got back to our hotel, great game to see.  The Grossman HR was real close to our seats.  My oldest daughter (9 years old) is on cloud nine, after the ChiSox SP warmed up, the pitching coach pointed at her and tossed her the baseball they were using.

Well, well, well.

More significant, however, is the move that Bruce Bochy indicated is coming tomorrow. Bochy said prior to today’s game that infielder Josh Jung will be activated for Friday’s game in Toronto, and will be in the starting lineup.

This is a rather big surprise, as the team had indicated Jung would be starting a rehab assignment on Friday. Instead Jung, who has been on the injured list most of the season, will be facing the Jays and lefty starter Yusei Kikuchi.

I accidentally posted this in the wrong thread….

I'd like to see us try and get Shea Langaliers from the A's.  Would put a RH power bat back in the lineup who can DH and is as good a catcher as Jonah.  We’re bigtime missing Mitch Garver.
