We need Tucker back asap.

idk how we managed to rattle off the month and a half  that we did without him, but it’s going to catch up with us very soon I’m afraid

Yep, and we also need another bat in the middle of the order. Singleton was a good story but he's not a starting caliber 1B on a team with WS aspirations.

Get someone with better numbers than singleton (without over paying). Higher numbers than Dubon is too high a bar

we need to trade or cut Chas over the break. Hate to see him go but he’s taking away at bats from mlb hitters

We need a pitcher more than a hitter. Not sure we have enough to trade for both

Holy shit, we lost a series where we scored 3 runs over the last 19 innings against a mid AL pitching staff. We need a starting pitcher, a reliever, and a 1B. Each one is equally important to this team being serious contenders. Singleton and Dubon are not starting caliber regulars on a serious WS team, Meyers is a JAG and Loperfido is a rookie that could go either way.

Last 20 games Singleton has appeared in, Astros are 14-6,  Singleton: .303/.373/.424, 2 HRs and 9 RBIs. .383 BAbip, so he's getting a lot of luck but little production

Last 20 games, Dubon has appeared in, Astros are 16-4, Dubon: .232/.260/.319, 0 HRs and 7 RBIs, .281 BABip, Dubon regressing back to his career norm, that of a UTL guy that should get 1-2 games a week.

Last 20 games Meyers has appeared in, Astros are 15-5, Meyers: .191/.282/.397, 3 HRs and 14 RBIs, .208 BAbip, Meyers showing off his JAG abilities

Combined those 3 have put up a .241/.305/.379 triple slash. Yes, we are set offensively giving those 3 continuing to get everyday PAs. Their combined offensive contributions have added exactly 0.154 wins to the Astros ledger over the last 20 games,

We can get Tommy White to take over for Bregman lol

Yep I was thinking that as well.

Pena has skins on the wall and it's not as easy to trade for a GG winning SS.

But Ok.

15-5 record, Pena: .250/.326/.408 2 HRs 15 RBIs, .270 BAbip

I forgot to note that it doesn't include today's game, so obviously the team's MVP Jake Meyers will finally get over the mendoza line.

I mean, our "best" bats had a chance or 4 today to do literally anything and they hit softly to the infield or popped it up. Let's start with our own hitters doing their job.

best bats last night too, zip

Diaz last 20 (15-5): .381/.393/.452, 0 HRs and 16 RBIs

Altuve last 20 (16-4): .345/.387/.494 3 HRs and 15 RBIs

Alvarez last 20 (16-4): .348/.477/.638, 5 HRs and 16 RBIs

They have been carrying the team over the last 20, it would be nice if the lineup had a little more length for when they have an off game. Shit, we didn't even need team MVP Jake Meyers to do anything that special yesterday, just don't hit a GIDP and we win the game.

100% a good bat would add some nice punch to this line up, but we don’t have much to offer and bats seem to limited this year

Yep.  We have enough to win the division and then the playoffs will be a crapshoot like always
