Nah, we need to straight up nail Rodriguez after that bat spike.

Zero issue with that....he hit the homer and Framber deserved that shit

Just like zero issue with Meyers yelling and getting fired up.

Robles shit needs to be dealt with

Jake meyers is an above average baseball player (Not MVP but laughably better than “maybe 5th OF territory”) that’s average (probably) offensively. If he hits 8 or 9 we are perfect and that’s a great outcome. We need Tucker back and at least one more bat- preferably 2. 1B and LF. Everything flows really well if Pena hits 8 and Jake 9th (or vice versa).
Yainer/singleton/pena/meyers 4-7 isn’t good enough to get us where we want to be.
Really need 2 guys 20% better than average at 1B and LF so that it’s Tucker plus them 4-6, and then  Yainer/Pena/Meyers. That might be the best 7-9 in baseball. It’s shitty 4-6.

He's fucking under .200 for his last 50 or so games. I am happy that he finally contributed tonight but he's not an everyday player on any team serious about a long playoff run. How much more under .200 does he have to hit before you accept it, but it's always hilarious of you to comeback to this thread every 40 or so PAs dick riding him?

Nice to be on the plus side of a wild reliever walking the leadoff guy and then serving up a dinger. Gracias, Ryne.

Don't speak so soon

Oh, ye of little faith! 😎

.240, 106 OPS+

Bigger sample sizes are better than smaller ones

You are right, his sample size outside of May shows him to be hitting under the mendoza line, even Maldonado had months were he wasn't completely useless. I guess you keep changing the goal posts because his WAR total has been stuck at the same number for the past 2 months.
