We win the WS last year if Dusty played him.

Maybe. We didn’t exactly lose 4 close ones to the Rangers but he was also better with defense and pitchers. I wouldn’t rule it out at all.

I’d really rather we not see turd Ferguson here. Maybe he can go scoreless 2 in a row.

MT YAINER ERUPTS AGAIN

He had the 5 game homer streak earlier and is now on a 3 game streak...that's 8 of his 15 for the season.  Just kind of odd.  With more playing time this year I thought he would push 30.

Hell- he still might. Let’s get really hot!
and now, Ort with his first bad outcome of the year that mattered.

I didn't think he'd get to 30 but would be easily over 20. Might still eclipse last year's 23 with a continued hot streak. Regardless, pretty impressive for a kid taking on a ton of responsibility behind the plate and having no real protection behind him.

Just another poorly managed game from Espada.

How so?

(other than the lineup)

Pitching-wise, you gotta give blanco every chance possible to get through 4.

Trying to get 2 out of Ort I have no problem with to save Abreu

Bad pitching decisions cost us two runs.

Not trying to steal every chance you can get against a shitty catcher. We should have 5+ steals in this game.

I’ll give you the SBs.

but I’m more inclined to blame bone-headed decisions like throwing home and giving up an extra 90’

or 7 BBs by our pitching

Meanwhile, BoSox announcers discussing 2 run lead.

If Bregman is playing tomorrow he can fucking pinch hit tonight

I wanted to call the Bregs PH walkoff off kenley. But already did that last night… and it’s not going to happen until tomorrow afternoon

No you don't, the guy has been abysmal all but 1 start (against the poor hitting Rays) in the 2nd half. He should be on the shortest of leashes, and allowing him to face the Red Sox a third time given his struggles both in the game, last week against them, and in the entire 2nd half was just a retarded decision.
