I have no idea from a personal perspective. Trial and error? I am fairly certain that it’s got to be advantage over surprising an un-prepared anus though.

I know in a wreck that you are suppose to remain relaxed in order to minimize injury.

I assume the same is true with portal additions and subtractions..

No shame from me. I was just looking to an expert. What other people do in their spare time, if they're not hurting other folks or animals, is their business, sir.

Thinking about the RB room for spring 2025; with both Baxter and (probably) Clark) recovering from serious lower-body injuries, does the staff take someone in the winter portal window?

IT thinks it’s on the table. They prefaced it by saying it wouldn’t be a world beater, just a quality depth one year rental.

247 seems to have deleted the early enrollee clock symbol from their player profiles, so I’m not sure on Simon and Stewart.

It's a guarantee that we take another RB come December.. Blue probably is gone after this season.. Having Baxter and Clark coming off major injuries.. Wisner, Gibson.. Still not deep enough even with the 2 freshmen coming in. Hopefully Gullette returns to the LB room and Niblett to the WR room

Getting a head start on the next cycle before some poor starts a thread and can't edit the title after posting it.

This will be the cycle in which anuses needed to be fully prepared.

Probably need a different thread title if they go to 105 scholarships.
I have no good idea for an edit right now.

Wisner, Gibson, maybe Gullette, Simon, Stewart, Baxter, Clark is a pretty full room already. Especially to be attractive to a back worth taking.

Baxter and Clark had severe injuries. The position will be open to competition next spring.  And with a strong NIL, a Manning at QB, a strong OL and WR and TE group, and well respected coaches we will have no problem finding someone good.

No whammies, but the ability of a running back to recover from an achilles injury is dire.  RBs have shown they can recover from knee injuries and play at a high level.  But anything we get out of Christian Clark will be gravy.

WITH THAT SAID, I pray to sweet baby Jesus that this post ages as well as my Devin Duvernay hands take.

I just hate to see players go through so much only to end up with serious injuries. I know it's part of the game, and yes, they're getting some NIL...but moving halfway across the country to represent a program, only to then end up unable to contribute, has to be devastating. And that's true even if Baxter and Clark eventually return to form and suffer no further physical setbacks. For RBs in particular, the window doesn't stay open long.
