Love Leach. He's one of two so far I'd like to break bread with--think he and Kurt Vonnegut would have an amazing conversation.

He was so good for the game. It is an absolute farce that those fuckwits said he didn’t meet the standard for induction into the Hall of Fame.

Got a strong enough arm and you could throw an eight ball from Pepperdine into the Pacific Ocean.
Hundreds of Millionaires scattered up and down that coastline in just a mile in each direction.

It's a gorgeous University resting on top of a large hill at the mouth of the infamous Malibu Canyon Road.
If I were rich and young, it would be towards the top of my list of universities to party at.  I mean, learn at.

And it's only like three miles or so from one of the most fun sportbike roads in the world.

I came to grips with that some time ago.  But I continue to delude myself just because I’ve always felt ucla can be great.  But really not in this era of NIL.  We get millions, almost billions, in donations.  But it goes to infrastructure and medical.  Which really are more important.  But not to me.

Hell, even Duke is getting some rich alum bucks. Feels like UCLA is similarly placed.

He was a big-mouth asshole. The only thing that he did properly was beat Aggies and talk shit about them.

He changed the game of football.  His coaching tree is pretty fucking broad, as well.

Besides that, yeah, nothing but some trivial shit.

Is this kid even good enough to be stipulating his bench warmer brother needs to be “taken care of”?

Arizona State would probably be happy to do it. We'll see if a bigger team falls in love with his speed. His brother isn't terrible, but he's more useful backup/ST player at the P5 level than potential starter.

Fair question. I asked it myself.

I don’t view this kind of shit as a good sign for the player fits either. If the guy’s brother isn’t good enough to merit NIL on his own, then fuck off, prima donna bitch. That’s money out of someone else’s wallet being forced into some lackey’s pocket. That ask needs to be coming from someone a lot better than Zach Branch.  That motherfucker needs to be paying his brother’s freight out of his own stash

I am now rooting against both of these guys and hope Georgia overpays to have both of them fail.

Is Carrington still there?

Branch's numbers aren't all that impressive.  I know numbers aren't everything.  But ten yards a catch over his career?  3 touchdowns and 78 receptions in two seasons?  What am I missing?

He's super fast, and coaches love to imagine themselves unlocking the hypothetically coachable stuff

This was my first thought.

"This is what we think you are worth.  Give your brother whatever portion you think is fair."

If Lincoln Riley can’t make the idiot look good, who will? Maybe Sarkisian or Kiffin  or Stein. It ain’t Mike Bobo. There are better options for the kind of ask these two shitheads are making.

IT with a few quick portal/draft related notes. My guess is Blue is who they are referencing in the second bullet point.

*****Potential NFL departures have been a common query. I’m hearing more of the same on Matthew Golden and Michael Taaffe. “They’re up in the air. What the NFL recommends should carry weight.”

*****IT expects one contributor from this team to enter the portal after this season. I think it’s a positive we’re only hearing one name, at least as of now.

*****Of the players who have entered the portal, defensive tackle Tia Savea and Edge Justice Finkley are still with the team.

Aggies once had an "all district".

I think their man-bun QB out of Pearland was second team All-district. I think that was before Jimbo, but I'm not sure. Ags were pumped. You may be talking about this guy.

Elko, Coach "Culture," likes these guys to prove themselves in the Missouri Valley conference before bringing them in.

If Golden and Taffee stay that would be major.

Why Blue? he's been pretty much on the straight and narrow this year?

He expected this to be his NFL year and instead he has 4 total carries the last two games. We will have a fairly crowded room assuming Baxter comes back healthy and it sounds like we may look to add a portal guy. I just think it makes sense for Blue to go somewhere he can be more featured.
