Man, I’d take their WRs.  They were abusing our DBs.  That Moore kid is the first WR that made Manny look like he needed to see the bench.

I assumed Wesco might be the target since it feels like we conceded Singleton

It's interesting that some of the TexAg-gies insist that all the 2022 guys who aren't performing well for the Aggies must be busts. I think, seriously, that it might be a good subject for research by a journalist or maybe a sports scholar.

What brought those recruits to A&M? I mean look into the spectrum of influences obviously including money but what were the player expectations when they arrived in College Station? What were the other draws?

How did they perform while at A&M?

Did the unruly 5-stars arrive as such (likely) and did the environment culture there propel them further beyond acceptable conduct?

How many were actual busts in the end no matter where they played? Why did they choose their new schools (see above) and what impact did choosing a school where they didn't stay actually have on them?

Same questions for those who went on to do well.

I know someone here will give simple answers to those questions ("money" to all of them would be probably least imaginative), but I'd like to know if it's more complex. I suspect it is. I'm not confident that sportswriters are the ones to sift through complication. They're largely dullards.

You sound like the man for the job.

He's got ties to OU (a gf and maybe something else) that meant he didn't give us the time of day as a recruit. We'd need something to change.

It was his sister, and they had the inside track on him because of that. She is now at UNT, but Wesco has fully drank the Dabo koolaid. I would be absolutely shocked if he transferred out already

Peter Woods is a monster when healthy. Our gameplan was to run away from him yesterday.

He's the most talented DT in the portal and would be a huge get. Clemson also mishandled Woods this year trying to play him at DE for a lot of snaps when he's clearly a DT.

Hold up. Woods is already in the portal?

If he does enter, he’s the difference maker that they were keeping their powder dry for, I would assume. That would make a great defense next year dominant, given who is coming back already.

I thought it was from a more official account so maybe he isn't. I think this fan account was just reacting to Woods tweet last night.

I don't think it would be a shocker if Woods enters though. Clemson played him out of position this year and their DC is very meh. Woods transferring has been rumored on their boards for a few weeks.

Also the thing about breaking the bank for Woods…

there’s nobody else on the team at his position as an existing upper class man. That means it won’t be problematic to overpay him with others getting jealous or renegotiating their price.

The WR from Clemson is locked in with Clemson. He not goi g anywhere right now.

Woods hasn’t officially hit the portal, but he is the guy our 9.99 people have been hinting about for a while, especially IT.  I wish they could keep their mouths shut cause there are a few Clemson folks who  don’t believe there is anything to worry about with losing Woods.

Woods’ camp isn’t happy with his usage. He is a DT, not an edge.

He's like 6'2" 320 lbs right? Why are they messing around with him outside like that?

They had some injuries outside, so they decided to just try to play their best four linemen. He is really athletic so in certain formations they play him outside at edge cause they had better depth at DT versus DE. It’s not full time, but enough snaps for him to show concern about being played incorrectly.

Their defensive coordinator isn't any good.

I was sitting in front of two Clemson fans.  They wanted him fired and badmouthed him the whole game.  After Blue's long run they were trashing the defensive call, where Clemson stacked the line and had nobody deep.  Thats the play where Sark said Quinn changed the play so I guess they were right.

“Peter Woods” is an even better porn name than Buck Naked or even Gil Bang.

I know a guy named Drew Steel - Mormon - Great porn name - He's an oral surgeon, though.

The sake reason we played Cedric Woodard at DE in 1999.  Lack of dline depth try to get your best 4 dlinemen on the field.

That said, Humphrey, Rogers, Hampton, Woodard was a great dline.
