When you say “lose”, do you really mean “process”?  Unfortunately he is unplayable. That’s kind of a problem.

I mean we want to keep him around to develop, but his inability to learn the playbook and hold onto the football might have him looking for another payday while he can still get one.

That's an extremely harsh take even for this board.  I don't think there's anything wrong with him that can't be coached out.  Usually true freshmen are given just a little slack and expectation that they can develop

Harsh? Maybe. But it’s pay to play now. If a Justice Haynes is interested at a comparable price, that’s the brave new world we are in.

This is true, but he is old for his grade and went to a football academy for HS. Meaning he should be advanced both physically and schematically. He’s not a skinny 2A kid we really need to let bake. He plays one of the easiest positions for early impact, he should be ready to go by this point in the season.

Maybe he’s also coughing it up in practice? Or, he’s just a constant risk of getting the QB decapitated.

All coachable things. His hard nosed running between the tackles and always seemingly going forward, are not. He’s got talent and id like to see him pick up at least 10 runs or 2 dedicated series or more/game if he’s improved on the other issues in the offseason.

Seriously you choade, he's a freshman.  All of our RBs this year had issues with pass blocking.  Both blue and wisner completely wiffed on pass blocking throughout the season.

They also all had their fair share of fumbles.

Nick Saban was.  But you may know more than he.

Small sample size obviously because of his injury history, but from what I saw, his play didn’t correlate with his recruiting ranking. Again, just my opinion, but I didn’t see someone who was clearly once/10 yr back like Bijan

I don’t think anyone would argue with you about this, but he currently is what he is and evidently that’s not good enough.

I’m sure when Gibson last played and fumbled and the camera focused on Sark so you could see him say “Get him the fuck out of there” and Wisner proceeded to carry the ball 768 times in the next two games that really did not mean anything, right?  Sark trusts exactly one RB on the roster right now. Do you think that the roster is going to look the same next year as a result?

Finally someone who gets me! I took a few gummies during the middle of it and was on a cloud throwing her shit in boxes lol. I don't even care if anything broke.

I like the Haynes kid. He’s a smooth, efficient runner. His style reminds me a bit of another former Bama RB from the state of Georgia—Kenyan Drake—with a less angular physique and maybe slightly less long speed.

If there is one positive from this whole RB discussion, it’s that nobody seems overly concerned about possibly having to replace the entire starting offensive line. Based on our collective experience over the better part of two decades, that is an encouraging development.

Bags don’t rule the world and there’s no Saban discount. They don’t have the infrastructure to support the highest team talent in the country anymore. Makes sense that they won’t be able to keep highly talented backups on the payroll for years anymore.

I'm loving it. Their asshole fan base and higher than mighty dick heads thought bringing in Deboer wouldn't be a drop-off. They are now seeing reality. I'm curious to see it his success was due to beating up on mid teams, or if he can turn it around. I know they had the #2 recruiting class, but I wonder how many will portal out after they lose another 3 games next season?

This is uncharted territory for Deboer. Harder conference, losing to teams like Vandy and Tennessee (who isn't that good), and you know another loss or two is comimg, it's just a matter of who.

You olds piss me the hell off sometimes. How are you going to make a statement like “you sure?” And then post that. That looks like Taylor Swift. She damn near looks like Randy Johnson from the back.

You sure are pretty selective in your women for someone who types from their mom’s basement.

Now tell me what’s wrong with this one besides the red and her choice of colleges:

That’s much better. I demand excellence out of you all. Mom’s basement is such a 2003 phrase by the way. Rent is so ridiculous , I wish my mom did have a snazzy basement I could crash in.
