Yesterday morning Bobby reported that Kanu was "on his way to Georgia" for a visit. CTJ said that Georgia mods expected him to spend multiple nights there. Then he commits to us this morning. Did he literally commit to us while on a tour of Georgia's facilities? "Hold up Coach Smart, gotta send a text real fast. OK, you were saying?"

If that were true: Automatic legend

Seems obvious Kanu entered the portal because there’s a market for him. Based on his time/production at Ohio State someone will have to overpay for him based on potential, but that’s part of the luxury of being a DT in this environment.

Pretty sure as an international student his legal cap is $10,000. There's a discussion about it on the Hero celebration thread, but it sounds like NIL wasn't the primary driving factor. It sounds more like he liked Texas and shit, he can play football.

I think around the same time Bobby said Kanu is "light in the loafers." Someone who knows Bobby should tell him that idiom doesn't mean what he thinks. He uses it often.

We have a handful of posters here who are light in the loafers.

Hero Kanu, Sir, is NOT light in the loafers!

😂

You know this from personal experience? He's German man, they're all over the place. Did he fuck your wife/mom/daughter or something?

I think Texans know the real original definition of glory hole, but thank you for those that are living under a rock. The point being that the urban dictionary definition has made a strong surge in recent years and it always creates an uncomfortable situation when he says it. Good grief. Why did I just have to explain that.

Doesn't Gabe Muoneke have an OG company in Nigeria?

Anybody else remember Kelee Ringo spending his spring break in Austin only to sign with Georgia? We aren’t even close to squaring the account with those bag dropping assholes. I really hope the adjustment for those cheating dickbags to their new station in life is as painful as possible.

He didn't even OV with us after all that, if I remember correctly.

Torre Becton is going to put 25lbs on Justus easy by September. I cant see that weiner schnitzel committing to Texas when there’s freshman at Texas who will pass him in short order. He just flee’d Ohio State because of that same dynamic.

Fled. Good grief. And the “Weiner Schnitzel” has landed.

There’s still another level of pain to come for them. Wait until Oregon discovers they can recruit GA kids and there’s a five star player they really want.

Georgia will be OK. Resource and alumni-wise, they are in the upper echelon of the SEC, plus that state is producing a ton of elite talent now, compared to 25 years ago. They don’t have Aggies, and their neighbor state rival doesn’t have to poach recruits from them to stay competitive.

It is fun to see Texas approach its potential, though.

That one was particularly egregious, although it could also be that spending a week informally getting to know Herman better might have made an impact, too.

He held up well against double teams in the run game in the playoff

That recruitment deprived us of three years of momma Ringo IG pics. We are just getting started.

Recruiting isn't about the recruits we get, it's about the hand jobs you gave along the way.

Who gives a fuck about Ringo? Dude  turned out to be just OK. I believe he was a 4thrd draft pick, and has only started a few games because of injuries. He's a special teams guy.

6 post above yours is why we give the fuck about Ringo

Yeah, that happened after he signed with Georgia. She got the promotion shortly thereafter. Super strange.
