Transfer Cycle 2024-2025 - Pato Del Muerto Steps Up With Blowjobs, Helobious Is Giving Out Handjobs For DTs

On Blue - Unless he’s a locker room cancer, I hope he stays simply because he’s a big play threat and because RB depth is always appreciated. As things stand now, if he left, we’d be one Tre Wisner injury away from relying on Baby Rhino, two backs returning from bad injuries, and two freshmen.

In thinking about Monday and the portal this cycle, several things are similar to last year.

1) Texas allegedly has a group of "targets" who have made it clear that they're entering the portal and are interested in Texas, or plan on just straight joining Texas.

2) Brandon Harris is still right in the middle of handling the portal efforts and setting expectations on all sides.

3) Texas is really committed to landing DT help.

Accordingly, I am managing my expectations about all of the shit starting to float out there, both in regard to what could be coming UT's way and who could be heading elsewhere.

What's been the view of Harris this season? Obviously we were all down on him last year and I'm not expecting him to have drastically changed but just curious what the vibe is post-NSD.

Being in position for a number 1 class probably is a good omen unless Sark and crew had to do a ton of heavy lifting despite Harris. I wouldn't expect a major change unless it was all bubble gum and duct taped together.

Has something changed regarding Blue? I’ve heard all year that, irrespective of this being the deepest pool of draftable TBs maybe ever, he’s entering the draft no matter what.

He meant to tell you, but I guess he dropped the ball on that one.

BTW, that's 18, I think, out of 30 signees from the vaunted 2022 class that have now fully busted at ATM.

There needs to be 30 for 30 on that class.

BTW, I think 18 is way too low. Probably the wrong thread for this discussion, but who is even contributing for them from that class? Shemar Stewart, Bryce Anderson, Leveon Moss, Theo Ohrstrom, and Noah Thomas? That's an almost incomprehensible disaster for the greatest recruiting class in history. Only Texas A&M could pull something like that off.

Oh, Bryce Anderson is "contributing" alright. Like Pete Rose to a point shaving scandal.

I recall people saying that there were only a few remaining from that class that Texas would want on the roster going into this year - Moss, Green, Anderson among them.

But then Moss and Green got injured, Wisner, Helm, and our safety tandem balled out, it's safe to say that even the ones we may have wanted going into this season wouldn't have had an impact here. Amazing to say that about what was perceived to be the greatest class of all time on paper two years ago.

Crazy the way our roster and culture have been developed compared to theirs the past few years.

This guy.  Somehow my daughter (no pics) at Bama knows. Maybe had a class together or part of a larger group that hang out a little, I don't remember, it was a couple of years ago.  But he was shooting his shot, a lot, at my daughter.  "Lets make D1 babies".  I hope this dipshit ends up in the FCS

Yes. Define “big play” if not.

I think of a "big play threat" as a player who does this with regularity, or at least as a measurable percentage of their touches. Blue has the speed and potential to be that guy, but one or two a year doesn't scream "threat" to me. Gunnar Helm's long reception this year is 49 yards. Is he a big play threat?

Don't feel like we'll be involved this time but probably should have left last year

No thanks. Was talking shit and a total ass all game long against us. Cancer in the locker room imo

I swear, Blue's reputation as a running back is built entirely on that one play.

Unless you were at the game on the west side watching our sidelines, you didn’t see him whine like a total bitch after being substituted for by Wisner on the final two drives (after fumbling twice). Choice had enough of his antics on the sideline and before the next play or during tore him a new one rightfully so and sent him to the end of bench. If his attitude doesn’t get adjusted he can walk. He’s a liability right now anyhow. Can’t have those fumbles in the CFP. We’re not playing Kentuckys anymore.

That Ohrstrom kid had a huge impact in the Lonestar Showdown….. by getting pushed into the backfield by our defensive line on multiple fourth down plays

I’d be mad too if my coach tried to leave for another job after convincing me not to transfer, and my QB couldn’t complete a forward pass to save his life.

I was at the game - it was actually the last one my dad attended with me - but our tickets are in the corner of the NW endzone. So we saw the run but missed the show I guess.

And there he goes

Big time. But will his deep Sooner connection keep him from wanting coming to Texas?

He’d be very dangerous in this offense
