Transfer Cycle 2024-2025 - Pato Del Muerto Steps Up With Blowjobs, Helobious Is Giving Out Handjobs For DTs

Recommended Posts

You absolutely want to talk to a small handful of folks on the Purdue roster.  They were a low quality team overall, but they were not 100% devoid of talent.  P Crimmins and S Thieneman are worth talking to.

Here are the punter's per-game stats from this past season.

His worst game was against Oregon w/ punts of 41, 39, 36, and 42.  The 39 was downed on the Oregon 1.

For some reason, ESPN has him listed as a Junior, but 2023 was his first year at Mississippi State.  Also, he's working on his Masters degree in Education, Curriculum and Studies.  He received a Bachelors in Education Studies from Victoria University, Australia, before heading to the US.

Portal: Some early names to know

The first round of portal entries are becoming know publicly. And that means the Texas Longhorns are taking a look at a number of prospects thus far.

OnTexasFootball provides some names that are receiving looks from the staff.

Defensive line

Cole Brevard, 6-3, 335, Purdue (senior)

2024 stats: 19 tackles, 1.5 sacks

Kelby Collins, 6-4, 275, Florida (sophomore)

Florida stats: 29 tackles, 1.5 sacks

Note: There are at least three more names we expect to add to this list.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but this sounds like the guys we may be after haven't entered yet.

And to get us back on track: Probably need two or three Ogres like, well, Ogre here, at DT out of the portal now, no?

I saw the movie a few months ago and the actors playing the entire FB team were scrawnier than me lol. Definitely needed extras.

The A&M strategy in the portal is like watching the guy at the bar at 2AM who has struck out all night on $1 beer night.  All the good options are long gone, it’s time to go hogging and act like you scored a solid 8 when in reality you got a 2 that no one wanted.

Ahhh, memories.

I have a bias that I’d prefer to see players transfer in who have only made one stop. Two or more stops before Texas seems like just a money grab, not a desire to be developed and showcased.

I generally agree with this, but if a player has production at multiple stops, I think it’s known and understood that they’re a rental. Coleman may be looking for his 4th stop but he did pretty ok on a gimpy miss state offense. He’s the type I’d be ok with adding the the room because we have a ton of good younger players but may need a stop gap depending on Golden leaving.

Four 2s equal an 8

I’m not sure exactly why Coleman didn’t follow Sanders to Colorado, but my supreme Internet sleuthing abilities (watching some guy on YouTube) clams it was because he wanted the opportunity to be “the man” rather than continue to be in the shadow of Hunter. If he hasn’t burned bridges with Deion, I could see them reuniting (provided Prime remains in Boulder).

I’m of the opinion that Mendoza, or more likely the Cal training staff, fucked that situation up. The kid jogged out of the tent with his helmet on while the targeting call was still being reviewed. ESPN had its cameras trained on it and the crowd responded to seeing him. They aren’t going to apply the penalty when that happens at a critical juncture in the game. I was happy to see Miami eventually shit the bed because the officials definitely gave them a couple of games early.

I appreciate these posts because they (PFF) are the only poor schlubs who have actually watched (and evaluated) all these kids play, and can add at least some context to their raw performance numbers, even with a very limited sample size. Thank you, sir.

You know, I figured B12 would be good for he and Arnold. Weigman needs to stay upright and Arnold needs time to process what he sees. Not entirely sure either offensive line is remarkably better at UA or MSU compared to OU for Arnold, but the Tigers have a ton of skill. Without Coleman, he would be walking into a situation in Starkville that resembles the one he just left in Norman. I have no idea what’s going on at UH on that side of the ball. If I was Hudson, I’d be taking a good look at returning to CenTex. Spav and that offense figured some shit out in the back half of the season.

I’m interested to see if Lebby really wants to tempt fate with a second occurrence of the Guyer QB Curse. His former boss passed off his QB commit like the kid was that spooky ass video tape from The Ring a couple of weeks ago. Clearly, he didn’t want that evil. That said, I suppose Arnold has more SEC wins currently than that entire QB room.

One more thing (SIAP):

It’s more physical because he’s actually playing games and being a bitch and sitting out.

Punter from Purdue was at Miss St last year.  I’d still take him here.  The interview above is awesome.  His very first stop in the US was Starkville.  They did not believe he was from Australia.  Actually indicated that West Lafayette was more cosmopolitan than Starkville because a real city (Chicago) was 2 hours away.

Someone like him could be an exception, though.  23 years old.  Already has a bachelors degree.  Not playing the NIL game.  His LinkedIN says he’s looking for work in education in 2025, etc.  Go get him :)

All foreigners receive an exclusion from my rule, particularly Australians.

Never been to Starkville but holy shit if it's less cosmopolitan than West Lafayette, which is basically a large college set in a cornfield.

And Chipotle is a top tier fast-casual national chain.  So what?

An undergrad degree from Moodys by itself lands the holder a coveted job as... assistant digital content producer on the KXAN website?

If he's a 3rd-stringer studying business with an offer to play for the UPenn Quakers or Alabama Tide... yeah, ride the the pine at Penn.  Easy.

If he's a starter with no prospect of an NFL career, he's going to be offered non football opportunities by connected alums who liked the fact of him being a QB, that's as good at Florida as it is at Duke.  For a guy like Maalik, his football fame generates more value than the relative brand power of a Duke degree.

Are you...shitting on Chipotle, you savage?
