Really?

Really really.

Walk me through your logic here 71.

She's cold shouldering the kid just to spite Trump's desire for applause?  Pretty small if that's the motivation.

Here's a hint: Trump doesn't give a single shit about the kid who beat cancer.

Not sure what any of that has to do with choosing not to applaud a kid who beat brain cancer, but hey, rock on.

AOC wants to make sure that kid, and all future kids in her situation, do not get rejected for treatment for lack of ability to pay and wants to guarantee that those families do not fall into financial ruin as a result.

I'll take that over standing and cheering as a sick child is used as a political prop.

My point is that her behavior was not partisan boilerplate. She politely allowed a person that she (and I) find utterly despicable speak and spew lies and distortions without interrupting him.

She hasn't said, "look at me." She was singled out by the talking heads of the right because she is brown on the outside and they thought they could portray her as RED on the inside. Instead of a commie stooge, they've shined the light on somebody easily up to the task of parry and riposte.

OMG! She did a fun little dance as a student!

OMG! If you ignore her intended meaning and context, she doesn't know the branches of government!

She's a brown feminazi who would rather be wearing BDUs, and spraying us all with AK-47 fire!

Sorry, the putrid remnants of the right don't get to both play that game and then tut-tut because she doesn't applaud the scum behind the attempt to discredit her. Trump is the name-calling cunt the right should be objecting to.

Behold the monster!

I only know who she is because the right ballyhooed her. I'm glad they did, because I think she's great.

I have no doubt you love the socialist bent of the modern left.

Maybe she was offering silent thoughts and prayers. Same effect on cancer as standing and cheering.

A 29yr old Ivy League graduate of privilege (her words) can’t earn and save enough to afford an apartment for a new job, but she’s gonna solve the health care crisis with feelings.

She’s got ideas and shit, no time for some cancer kid.

You're worried about a reps expenses and.budget but you slobber over Trump who won't show his taxes? The higher moral plane seems an odd place for a Trumpkin.

She said she was a graduate of an Ivy League school?   Boston University is a fine school...but it ain't in the Ivy League.  it is however in "Road Trip", the movie.

No. She is fighting for a safety net she doesn’t have to earn. If she has none of those things, why should anyone else. Why should you have to work for it?

She went from her parents tit to the governments. Working, earning and saving are not concepts she has experience with.

She needs the government to take over where her parents left off and wants America to join the soup line with her.

You haven't got a clue about her personal history.. that seems pretty obvious.

what am I supposed to respond to?

I'm gonna be honest, canecutter, I put the Texashorn19 sock on ignore after the first post. Did it say something interesting or challenging?

Obviously there are a lot of young morons. The Proud Boys and Identity Evropa and Turning Point USA are chock full of young idiots. Covington and its ilk are churning out useless, mediocre fail-sons by the tens of thousands every year. That population is not going to disappear, but it is shrinking as portion of overall population (their mommas and daddies don't like each other very much), and as it shrinks and loses power its going to get angrier and harder.

But that's life. Not much to do about it.

What is his big challenging idea?

Wait until that population sees their parents and grandparents endure the horrors of government run healthcare if that comes to fruition. Seeing Dad and Grandma get the same type of care the VA doles out compared to the flawed system we have now will add to the stable of pissed off new generation of Republicans. Add that to the anger that will be caused by increased taxation to cover the healthcare needs of illegals and you will see a motivated group looking to smash progressivism.

Too bad for you that what is actually happening around the world is a rebirth of nationalism and rejection of unfettered free trade, open door immigration and a return to valuing the core values of a nation when it comes to shared values and language. We will get a much more disciplined and a much smarter leader on the right than Trump to lead us to rejecting the new world order initiated by war criminal Bush

Yea I’m sure people are going to be pissed about actually being able to afford going to the doctor instead of going bankrupt from medical bills. How are you this clueless about everything?

The Heritage Foundation published an index of "Economic Freedom" -- you know, the type of thing rah-rah capitalist types should LOVE.  The US comes in at 12th place on the list.  Countries with greater economic freedom?  Here they are.  And note something interesting.  All of them -- these countries with MORE economic freedom than the US, per those pinko commies at the Heritage Foundation -- (except for the odd duck Mauritius).....have universal healthcare.

Heritage-2015-Index-EF.jpg

The "hell" that you're describing?  That hell looks like the most economically successful and vibrant places on earth.  And when you expand the list to include entities close to us in economic freedom, the disparity becomes even more apparent.  Literally every western democracy has universal healthcare.  You morons keep saying that having it will lead to hell on earth......utterly ignoring the fact that it works in country, after country, after country.  Many of them with more economic freedom than our own.  You are standing on the moon, looking down at the spinning round earth, and shouting that the world is flat.  You just look silly at this point.

The demographic I’m talking about has employer provided health care and not the destitute that’d benefit from gov run healthcare while making things worse for the rest of us. Don’t be a moron

That top of that list includes 2 city-states and the rest of the top 5 are countries with a population smaller than Texas. You can fall into the trap of citing OECD stats. I’d love to live in a country as well run as Singapore. I gladly trade our “democracy” for a country as transparent and well run as Singapore. Let’s get back to the real world and the examples of how badly inefficient and terrible the government in THIS COUNTRY is actually run. I gave the example of the building I bought with the government tenant I have. Tell me why government run universal care is better for me with good private insurance. The indigent have Ben Taub and community health clinics. That’s good enough and not worth ruining the health care for the rest of us. We have a concrete example of how our own government runs health care for a small segment of the population with the VA. That’s a disaster. Why would anyone want that for the rest of us.

that's a tiny little house.  if the neocons are trying to use that against her, as an example of her extravagant upbringing, they are going to hit a brick wall.  that's way more modest a home than most of us grew up in.

Your non-responsive replies just prove you're an idiot more each time you post one. I'm perfectly fine continuing this boring conversation and allowing you to continue showing your ass.

So go ahead and try again. Please explain why the fact you moved to and lived in South America seemed like a rebuttal to being called racist in your little peabrain.

Please explain why you refuse to read what I posted before. Stop being racist.

You don't reward him for exploiting a child.

You don't applaud a child beating brain cancer because you disagree with the motives of the person who makes you aware of the child's story?

Yeah, that's small.  Seems to be what you're advocating.

Clap for the kid, everyone knows you're not cheerleading for Trump.

Now, that said, I rewatched that portion and AOC did indeed applaud the kid, so good on her.

Fake meme appears to be fake.

I mean, we're not just gonna talk about her wearing white after Labor Day?  I mean we'll invite her to our Hamptons party after this, but she can only wear cream or lily.

The first step for a well run and more efficient country might be to stop voting for the R party which intentionally defunds, destabilizes, and intentionally sabotages every government agency and then turns around to their voters and proudly proclaims, "See everyone, government doesn't work!"

Lol progressives are truly brain dead morons. None of my arguments have anything to do with Alex Jones or anything he says. We watched your friends try and dox that kid wearing a MAGA hat in DC when video evidence shows he did absolutely nothing wrong.

You have a point here.  The social media mob took things too far without having all of the evidence.  The boys definitely did not start the drama.

There was still evidence of those kids being assholes at different parts of the day in videos to different groups of people, including the natives.  They weren't free of any blame.

Quote

We saw the Obama admin use the IRS to target political opponents, among other things.

Now, here you have no point at all.  This. never. fucking.  happened.  The I.R.S. was also targeting progressive groups, and neither was at the direction of Obama.  Just like "Obama did more executive orders than anyone!" or "Hillary sold uranium to the Russians!" or "Hillary killed a DNC staffer and JFK, Jr.!" None of these things happened and you've been lied to.  But you people swallow this bullshit hook, line, and sinker every time Sean Hannity or Breitbart or townhallpatriots.blogspot.com feeds it to you.

We see BLM and it’s supporters be openly racist with no repercussion. No conspiracy needed when it’s all out in the open on Twitter and other media platforms. But go on. I don’t like trump, but I’m sure as hell voting for him next election because of the types of people that frequent this board.

No, you've seen a few of the most fringe members of BLM be openly racist.  Most in the group have just protested the police killing people that look like them.  Doesn't sound so unreasonable to me.  But congrats on voting for someone you don't like because some strangers on a message board were mean to you.  Sounds like you've got some real political convictions and principles there.
