No being mrs clinton made her qualified to be sen and sec of state, apparently.

She was not qualified ever to be president.

Yes, because someone with a JD from Yale law school isn’t qualified to be a senator or sec of state. Only her MRS made her qualified. You don’t have to like her, but saying she wasn’t qualified is a joke.

Brian kilmeade is dumber than terry bradshaw, and should be similarly ignored when he speaks other than maybe a bless his heart.

He took German in high school.

you cannot argue facts or logic with a moron.  You might as well be talking to a rock.  He doesnt speak the language even if he occasionally monkey bashes a keyboard to spit out a word or two.

I somehow got set up on a teaparty list and the bombardment of hate, not so subtle suggestions of violence, and fear mongering is astounding.   If they ever came across Jesus on the cross, they would tell him about how they suffered.

Strong, smart, opinionated, well-spoken and out-spoken women really do scare some people.

C'mon. She was rude to a concentration camp guard our heroic law enforcement guys doing a great job when they're not walking up to Trump with tears rolling down their faces and thanking him for saving America.

You're one of those women's libbers, arncha?

She's running in 2028, isn't she?  Because Fox News, or rather its viewers, are sure as hell scared of her.

And she's liable to get plenty of younger folks out to vote next year.

Would be nice if Chuck Schumer hangs it up in 2022. Especially if he fails AGAIN to win a majority in 2020.  She'd be in a shoe-in for that seat.

Seems that there’s an assumption here that not only will a Democrat win next year, but will have a second term, so that her first opportunity will be in 2028.  What if it’s biden?  8 years at his age?

and, does she stay in her district for a couple more elections, or does she go after a NY senate seat the next time one comes up?

She's 29 now, 30 in October.  I don't see 35 year-old AOC running in 2024, at least not at the top of the ticket.

edit: Js1 has the right idea - she could easily pick up Schumer's seat in three years.

Not so sure. Upstate Dems are a lot more conservative than her and upstate Pubs are full on Trumpers. There's a reason Schumers and Cuomos win statewide offices.  She has a better shot at mayor.

Referencing information from propaganda sources like OAN makes you look pretty unintelligent.

Fair point. I suppose that it would be important then to note that those survey results came from a firm sponsored by CNN and YouGov (non-partisan, non-US).

Can we quit talking about the nomenclature of the camps and actually make some progress towards improving the conditions?

Not really, unfortunately branding is important in swaying political opinions.

The right is masterful at it - open borders, death panels, pro-life, socialism, Clinton Murder Club etc.

People like us who actively seek out political news and post about it on the internet are the exception not the rule.

I’d say a good 80% of Americans haven’t really been paying attention to what’s happening at the border in these camps. It’s not that most of them wouldn’t be against the horrible things going on, they just don’t dig deeper than what they see at the top of the hour on CNN or their Twitter feed.

Calling these abominations concentration camps might actually be of enough shock value to get more people to pay attention and join in calling enough.

And, to put it simply, they are concentration camps. Modulating what we call them just to be polite to evil people isn’t something that should be done.

Would anyone care to explain to me how she knows what the women in cells were doing when she refused to tour the facility?

God damn, is it just biologically impossible for you to actually separate truth from fiction?

On the previous page of this thread, there's literally a picture of her inside the facility hugging a detainee, you Kansas State halfwit.
