He has Banks at 10, Golden at 21 and Barron at 24.

Cowboys taking Walter Nolan, Texans taking Egbuka.

He also has Will Campbell going #4, which is absolutely insane to me. He’s nowhere near as good of a prospect as the OTs who’ve gone top 5 in recent drafts.

based on his write up, he thinks #4 is too high for Campbell but the Pats are desperate for OT..

They’ll draft a WR in the first with Rice coming back and Worthy emerging?

I suspect Rice is too fucking stupid to stay in the NFL for long.

Sounds like qb3 is between Dart and Milroe.

Quinn, McCord and Howard in next group

I don't see how either of those guys carries the day at QB3 through the draft. A lot of people expect Milroe to do well at the combine, but I could see him being a disaster in the throwing drills.

Milroe will and is falling a lot, he has small hands (8 and 3/4in) and performed badly in senior bowl practices

He'll probably change his mind when it's that or getting a regular job.  Also because he'd probably make a pretty good wr or rb.  He's really good in the open field.

I posted that milroe should do rb drills at his pro day and got called an idiot. I know im an idiot but I still think he should do rb drills at his pro day.

I can understand not wanting to take the beating running backs take.  He's big enough and fast enough to make it as a wr I think also.

If you ignore his entire college career and only watched this year's playoffs, sure why not.  Teams are going to talk themselves in to all kinds of bad decisions this year.

He's not "secretly" hitting 22 mph. Chip Kelly said back in August that "all of our QBs run 21 mph or faster and Howard ran 22 mph" - https://www.si.com/fannation/college/cfb-hq/news/ohio-state-football-will-howard-practice-speed#:~:text=And while offensive coordinator Chip, from Kansas State this offseason.

this isn't some new revelation.

Here's an article that has Howard as the "sleeper" QB, but take with grain of salt as it's from a couple of weeks ago and still has Milroe as QB3: https://www.the33rdteam.com/2025-nfl-draft-ohio-states-will-howard-is-this-years-sleeper-qb/

The absurdity is conflating hitting 22mph in a controlled practice setting with the speeds attained by NFL QB's in game conditions.

Yep, I ran a sub 4.3 track time and was definitely caught from behind by 4.5 guys when I played in peewee

McShay said on his show that he's hearing teams like Barron in the top 15 range.

His versatility makes him a fit in any scheme because he can play pretty much anywhere, which is only going to help his draft position. Dude is a testament to hard work on his part and development by the staff, good for him…

Yeah too many above Banks...but i'll take 8 of the top 100 players.  Be the Most day 1 and day 2 picks we've had in a while right?  And probably still another 4 or so guys who could be taken later.

I get the ego and money thing for earlier draft picks but going to a better run, more successful team isn't so bad either.

Barron is easily one of the best DBs in this draft. His times are going to be huge to his draft stock. I think there is some belief that he may not have the top end speed to stay outside. I can see someone like the Steelers/Ravens drafting him. Just a smart organization (defensively) that recognizes the versatility that he offers. He is going to find a spot on team. I see him as a guy that might be a 8-10 year pro and over the course of his career he may play every position in the secondary.

Neither will Ole Miss fans.  Painful reminder that the one position they didn't pay for is the one position that kept them out of the playoffs (and maybe more).

Brugler was on Mays' podcast, and for Quinn he mentioned how while he respected how he gritted his way through playing while injured throughout his career, his play did drop quite a bit when that happened, and he talked about how in the NFL QBs are always playing injured as the season goes on, and you have to be able to keep your level of play high while playing injured. With Banks, he talked about how there's a lot of rough tape of him losing balance and falling off of blocks quickly, and he contrasted him with the Missouri guy who has mostly clean tape and is always staying balanced

The full NFL Combine list has been released and there will be 14 Longhorns represented in Indianapolis at the end of the month.

QB Quinn Ewers

RB Jaydon Blue

WR Isaiah Bond

WR Matthew Golden

TE Gunnar Helm

OL Kelvin Banks

OL Hayden Conner

OL Jake Majors

OL Cam Williams

DL Vernon Broughton

DL Alfred Collins

EDGE Barryn Sorrell

DB Jahdae Barron

DB Andrew Mukuba

Texas continues to stack NFL Combine and Draft success and this year is no different. A great chance to break and re-set the program record for players selected in a single Draft.

Apparently @Wulaw Horn carries some sort of weight with the combine runners as Hayden Conner was inexplicably invited. Wow.

Guys not invited include Blue, Gbenda, Holmes and Bolden. Not sure who I missed other than those.

Blue did get an invite

Apparently @Wulaw Horn carries some sort of weight with the combine runners as Hayden Conner was inexplicably invited. Wow.

Guys not invited include Blue, Gbenda, Holmes and Bolden. Not sure who I missed other than those.

I’m going to be waaaaay more right than wrong. Not likely to get 16 but that was always way more possibility than probability. I’ve been calling for 13 plus since mid year and bet we get there. My final list:

Quinn, Gunner, Blue, Majors, Banks, Williams, Connor, Bond, Golden, Broughton, Sorrell, Collins, Makuba, Barron,

14 be  my guess.
25% chance or less: Gbenda, Holmes, Bolden.

15 with a little luck.

edit to add- I didn’t see the combine list. Basically all my guesses hit the combine. Ha. Less people are invited to combine than are drafted so anyone invited would be more likely than not to be selected.

I don't know if he'll get drafted but I'd bet that Bolden is going to make some team happy they signed him.

I'm a little surprised he isn't getting more love. I see him as a late round need pick and I think whoever picks him will get a great bargain for a nice slot/3rd WR. Has the PR history too as a plug-in and versatility pick.

But I'm a little biased and know fuck all so..
