Happy that our three guys got drafted.  Seen mock after mock with Banks Jr. nowhere in the 1st round and I'm wondering if all these talking heads are on crack.  Dude is your typical draft this guy and he'll lock down your QBs blind side for 15 years type of guy.  Jahdae and Surtain are going to make passing against the Broncos impossible.  Golden to the Packers is nice, too.

Here's to Big Al, Gunnar, and the rest of our guys going tomorrow and Saturday.  Maybe close to 10 guys drafted for us?

Not even when it's explained to you in plain text?

You are absolutely correct. Although I composed a compete sentence, it was not the complete thought, which was implied...

I don't get why you are posting the pics here.

More clear?

Y’all think G Helm might go tomorrow to the Broncos? Perfect fit for Peyton and newish QB, plus he’s a CO boy.

Hook’em!!!

I'd bet against it, with even odds

The Browns might have played it perfectly. If they take Johnson at 1 and Sanders at 4. They could have 3 first round talents.

Calling Sanders a first round talent is a stretch

Probably for the same reason I fart in your general direction.

It feels good.

It's crazy that so many great receivers come OUT of GB, considering this was their first 1st round WR pick.

Is their WR coach looking for a pay raise?
Not that Chris isnt getting it done (we don't know yet).

Whoever claims to have written the previous post is spot on. T Mac took plays off on his mediocre Arizona team “on tape” depending on opponent.

Golden’s year with Texas had no “fluff” plays to take off!

nil price is going to go up
by this nil era, a top 10 program should have at least 2 first round picks yearly

Cam Ward ran the Wing-T at Columbia (TX). His play calling (coaching directed) only got about 10-12 passes each game, so that’s why he was such a “missed” talent in HS.

GJ Kinnie (TX State) deserves respect as he saw that diamond in the rough and brought Ward to UIW. A very little time later they had NDSU on the ropes in the 1-AA Semis, and this is UIW!!!

That week most likely had the biggest “Google search” on what is a UIW.

Exactly. The only reason people thought he'd go high is because he's a QB and it's a draft without top end QB talent. The stories planted in the last day or two are 100% correct. He takes WAY too long to get rid of the ball, he doesn't throw until receivers are already open, he just basically shows very little to no anticipation. That's a recipe for disaster in the NFL.

This is kinda fucking crazy ...

Ohio State’s 2021 wide receiver room was one of the most loaded position groups in college football history, especially during spring practice.

Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave, Jameson Williams, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka made up Ohio State’s two-deep at wide receiver that spring. Four years later, all six of them are now in the NFL as first-round draft picks.

Wilson (No. 10 overall, New York Jets), Olave (No. 11, New Orleans Saints) and Williams (No. 12, Detroit Lions) were all selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. Smith-Njigba (No. 20, Seattle Seahawks) was a first-round pick in 2023. Harrison became the highest-drafted wide receiver in Ohio State history (No. 4, Arizona Cardinals) in 2024. Egbuka became the sixth first-round pick from that group when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected him with the No. 19 overall pick in Thursday night’s first round of the 2025 NFL draft.

Literally didn’t run the plays. Always scrambled for the spectacular Also I’m always weary of qbs who will take the sack rather than throw it away. Stats guys

And one of those NR was the first overall pick. Crazy.

Considering a NR went #1 overall it seems like there is some room for improvement.

Beat me to it.

It's cool that he's excited about Golden, but Jesus Christ - get a grip. It's a draft pick.

Apparently he isn’t/wasn’t alone.

Eric Morris discovered Ward and then took him with him when he went to Wazzu.

He didn’t recruit Ward. Eric Morris recruited him
