2024 US Open - Pinehurst No. 2 (June 13-16)

Recommended Posts

I mean he’s making the cut but his short game right now leaves him zero chance to make a run. Big thing about him is his driving has been really solid this year and his putting has gone off a cliff.

Good. Now they know how the rest of us feel.

Yep! True to the hallmark high-difficulty of past US Opens.

I was on-business in Raleigh in 2014 and had patrons staying in my hotel -- should've driven over to Pinehurst on a lark.  Lulz.

Aberg is like the anti-Cantlay. Steps up to the ball and takes a swing. Quite refreshing.

He would be my pick to be Scottie’s main rival the next few years.

Tiger has been great off the tee today. His biggest issue is his putter. For him to compete in any major moving forward he has to get A LOT better on and around the green.

He has to play a few tournaments. He says these aren’t ceremonial appearances but he’s not going to compete without banking some competitive rounds.

Looks like Scottie is going to squeak in under the wire.

Cut is still +4 but barely. Needs 2 players to move down to +5 or worse for it to change. Which is likely.
