INDIANAPOLIS — The eight super-regional hosts were announced today by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee.

The following four super regionals will be played Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8, with Sunday, June 9 for if necessary or weather-delayed games. The national seed is indicated before the team name, while updated records through the regionals are in parentheses.

GAMES BEGIN FRIDAY, JUNE 7 - All times are Eastern

Note: Game times and ESPN Network subject to change

Evansville (38-24) at No. 1 Tennessee (53-11)

3 p.m. (ESPN2), 11 a.m. (ESPN2), 6 p.m. (ESPNU)

UConn (35-24) at No. 8 Florida St. (45-15)

noon (ESPN), 11 a.m. (ESPN), noon (ESPN2)

Kansas St. (35-24) at No. 12 Virginia (44-15)

7 p.m. (ESPNU), 3 p.m. (ESPNU), 3 p.m. (ESPNU)

West Virginia (36-22) at No. 4 North Carolina (45-14)

What was WVU's outfield positioning there?  Seemed like almost a groundball to SS that goes almost to the wall for a bases clearing double

No kidding!  They all want to reach out to meet a throw when it’s much faster to let the ball travel.  Then, hold the tag … amazing how often baserunners come off of the bag on pop up slides.

Florida State pulled ahead 5-2, but UConn just answered with a 2-run jack.  Tennessee is up 4-3 on the Purple Aces.

Florida State and Tennessee are in that early window where they could punch their ticket to Omaha before some of the Supers have thrown the first pitch.

Georgia right fielder drops a leaping catch attempt against the wall and somehow only one run scores for NCSt.  7-0, time for another pitching change.
