Who projects as our weekend starters?  Looking over the roster the lineup should be stacked and pitching depth looks really good, but I can’t tell who we can count on to start the most important games.

I think we start with Cody Howard on Fridays and go from there.

Does anyone know if there will be a series at home weekend of March 7-9? The website currently shows nothing for those days, but I’d be surprised if there was no OOC home series before SEC play starts up.

Trying to find a weekend to get to town and catch a basketball and baseball game.

The SEC schedule and the two tournaments have been released.  The complete schedule has not dropped yet.

I don't think I've ever 'bought' tickets before so I'm asking ...

I'll be looking for two for the LSU series, any tips here ?

SeatGeat is the official re-sale place for UT meaning that's where season ticket holders can easily post tickets for sale.

AWAY the week before in Vegas and first SEC series against MSU the following week is also AWAY so yes, there will be a HOME series the weekend your wanting to catch a game. Takes time for the schedule to come out and for those itching for one, fall ball isn't even completed yet. The team isn't taking a bye weekend first weekend in March. Get your accommodations lined up, Horns will be playing.

That's going to be tough one (LSU travels great) and the last time they were here (pre covid), CDC brought in temporary bleachers for overflow. I was glad I was a new season ticket holder and at least got  to see the Friday night game. That being said, you should be able to get some on the secondary market or through the ticket office as many people give their tickets back to the school to be sold. Expect GA or down the lines though. Maybe some under the roof. There are a number of people around me that exchange or give away our tickets to each other if not going. PM me a heads up about a week beforehand and I'll see if any are available.

edit: I've had my same seats (2 on aisle) for 8 (?) years now and I have NEVER met the guy (or gal) in the seats to my left.....different people there EVERY game, every year, as the people that sit there during different series bought them through the box office usually day of game. Dude has never been to a game. So those will probably be for sale too.

Facial hair this year huh?

I doubt it

A  few guys had it....JFlo with a porn 'stache. Galvan and one of the first basemen with short, stubby beards. One of the transfer pitchers with hair to his shoulders.

Hopefully this was for fall ball, but I'm not so sure. Clean cut tradition works for me.

No facial hair on team photos, but that was early.    Michael Cantu has been added as a Student Assistant.   Perhaps he can help the catchers.

@BillyGoatHill   Know there are alot of rotations,  but could you tell anything about 1st and 3B  ?

Not really. Only one appearance for the public and with that only 5 innings of play. Traffic sucked and I missed the top of the 1st inning. Plus didn't see any roster sheets being handed out. Maybe I missed them. The first baseman for the orange (beard) looked like a fullback, but looked comfortable there. I can't remember if Borba was there for the white or over at 3rd.

Hitting was ahead of pitching in my opinion, with the guy that got some hits off him in the 1st was a 3rd round pick supposedly. And yes, Cantu was there and coaching first base.

My section was closed off for recruits and VIP family so that probably affected my scouting report/ observation also.

Looks like we'll have to wait until February and maybe get something better from the alumni game.

So we can't pitch worth a damn?  Might as well cancel the season now.

Why does it matter?
