How does tv coverage work in the SEC? Will most games be on SEC network?

And @thunderlounge:

If it's like last year and previous years, the AT&T U-Verse app will have every Texas home game plus Texas' SEC conference away-games for free for AT&T U-Verse subscribers. As in years past, they'd show all the SEC home games, plus all SEC conference games.
(The U-Verse PC access ended 7 some-odd years ago.)

On TV, the SEC Network will have some Texas games, but I don't know how often they will use the multi-channel SEC Network channels to show multiple SEC-baseball games simultaneously this year, or if they will even bother to do that at all. Maybe they won't.

The 2 beginning-of-the-year tournaments Texas is in, will be on TV somewhere.

The only non-conference away game for Texas, as noted above, is with SWT in San Marcos.

The entire Shriners Tournament at Globe Life will be on FloSports which could mean having to subscribe to watch.

The Vegas games will be streamed through D1 Baseball.  You need to be a subscriber to watch, but I think you can do a month to month subscription and then cancel after a month if you don't want it after that.  I think its $35 for first month including streaming.

That was the deal when I subscribed to FloSports "for a month".

Two years later I realized my mistake.

what channel is it on i can stream it yes..

It's on FloSports, which is a subscription streaming service. It will be on their FloCollege section.

I would think somebody with a subscription would have to host it on Discord or something like that, for a group stream.

Can it be hosted here in some compacity?

Seriously who the fuck invited O’Dowd back for the alumni game. As though he wasn’t frustrating enough to watch the last 3 years now we are subjected to more of him?

Clearly his teammates liked him if they invited him back for a glorified scrimmage. Maybe he always brings the best beer

I thought Pierce would come back and coach third base for the Alumni.

Since Ivan Melendez isn't coming, he probably declined.

He wanted one more chance to get Ivan thrown out at home and possibly injured. It happened on this play for no reason. It wasn't the first time Melendez was thrown out at home by Pierce needlessly.

The situation was this in Manhattan, against K-State. Texas is ahead 5-3 with Melendez on first with one out in the top of the 7th. Stehly doubles down the line and Melenez is sent home, though the relay throw is almost to the shortstop as he rounds the bag. Ivan not exactly known for his blazing speed is easily thrown out and suffers a shoulder injury. This killed the inning, which Texas would have scored in. The Wildcats put up five runs in the bottom half of the inning and wound up winning 8-5. Melendez missed the rest of the series which Texas lost 2-1. He was replaced by Gavin Kash.

I just realized Gavin Cash transferred from Tech to A&M.  Bet he won't be coming back here for an alumni game.

How ironic, see above.

Clearly it must be the current coaches, ex-players and/or current players involved in which ex-players are invited -- but would assume the current coaches would have to have the final say on who participates.

If you don't like who is attending, why don't you just stay the hell away on Feb 1.

I'm ready for the alumni game. Planning to walk by Roger Clemens in the concourse just after gates open and have him look away again.

Ha dude.  Are you OK?  You were the one cursing about O'Dowd and saying "now we are subjected to more of him".  It seems strange that one of the many alums attending could trigger you so much.  If it does, you could just skip this Saturday.

It does not look like you need the app to watch the Alumni game.  It shows up on the Longhorn Network web page...

https://watch.longhornnetwork.com/home

It's going to be Galindo isn't it.
