Whenever I think of Louisville baseball, I remember watching a postseason game they were hosting. From the CF camera you could see past the catcher, through a tunnel, and out on to the street in front of the stadium. It was bizarre.

Watching a stream on tv is no different than BS cable needed for LHN. SEC+ lets you stream on your TV the same way you viewed games on LHN.

Except that SEC+ requires a separate subscription, right? And it doesn't exist as an app I can add to my tv, does it?

Sounds pretty different.

Also, according to the schedule here: https://texaslonghorns.com/sports/baseball/schedule

.... there is no mention of games on LHN.

All of that content can be found on the espn app so yes to the latter question.

If you have a tv plan that carries sec network, which most or all do, I believe your credentials will give you access to sec+ streams. So maybe no to the former question.

I guess I will find out.

But then the question, that I suppose confirms me as an "old", how do I watch SEC+ on my tv?

One is not "old" simply because they are uncertain of how to access the latest form of media distribution.

One is "old" when one just bitches about change and is too lazy and/or incompetent to learn how to do something new or different.

Some folks were born old. Some folks never get there. YMMV.

Muy bueno. Gracias, amigo!

You may want to practice with the softball game sunday.  It's on ESPN+ (not SEC+ specifically) but it should work the same.

Actually no, SECN+ is part of your cable package if you have SECN

ESPN+ is its own subscription

Most of the softball non-conf stuff is ESPN+. Cable credentials should be sufficient for SEC play for non-televised games

Ok. I defer to this.  I has the ESPN+ and no cable subscription.  My bad.

I have to log in 2 diff ways to the ESPN app for content:

SECN+ content is equivalent to streaming the ESPN channels, SEC Network, ACC Network or ABC games via the ESPN APP and I use my DirecTV Stream credentials.  This was also the same for LHN content.

ESPN+ content requires my separate Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ bundle.  LHN was not part of the ESPN+ and also required the separate cable subscription

It's all stupid as fuck, but that's life these days.  And ESPN should brand SECN+ content as something else to differentiate it from ESPN+

Tickets for the Texas @Missouri series are on sale now.  You have to call if you want specific seat selections.  Or you can go with "utah gimmie 2" on the website.  No premium prices for it being a Texas game other than Ticketmaster bullshit. Third base dugout is visitors according to the ticket office.

Yeah, it looks like I have access to SEC+, but not ESPN+.

I ain't paying for another sub.

If you have Disney Plus or Hulu, it's worth it to add ESPN+ to that bundle.

If you don't have Disney Plus or Hulu already, then yeah you'd be paying for a new subscription

Thanks. I've been checking every morning, and apparently they popped up after I checked this morning. That'll teach me to check before 10am I guess.

$15/ea reserved. Not too shabby. Got H for Fri/Sat, J for Sun.

I called this morning, the tickets did not go live until 1pm missouri time.  I have a charge on my AMEX card but no email confirmation. I'm letting it go until Monday. I'm sure they were swamped.
