We had a nice win over a bad Syracuse team tonight. Syracuse came in and had a 16-point lead in the first half and the boys didn’t quit, won 80-69.

Still, three bad losses this month I predict; at UNC, at Wake and home to a terrible UVa team are going to keep us out of the NCAA

SMU won a big one over y'all to improve its bubble standing then we proceeded to get pantsed at home by WF.

Mustangs aren't quite there yet.

ACC outside of Duke this season has been pretty dogshit. Miami is like legendarily bad.

Self to Texas would be just a horrible decision from Texas. It's clear the guy isn't the same since his heart attack. Trusting that 7' stiff should tell you all you need to know about where his decision making is right now.

Notre Dame just playing like they don't give the slightest shit.

39-14 SMU @ ND

I'm guessing Enfield laid into some asses after the Wake loss. SMU is pretty good and desperate to make the tourney and Notre Dame sucks.

I don't know I think they responded well. After being down 39-14 they outscored SMU 59-58.

Ponies need a win at home against Clemson Saturday.

Arkansas gave Auburn a scare but got closed out drama-free late. Cal working on missing the tourney year 1 - assuming UK doesn't miss him yet.

I’d say retirement watch for Self has begun

If Lutz doesn't work out he can take the Sutton reitrement tour in Stillwater (minus the booze).

I've probably asked you this before, but do you think the Thunder or the program's run of mediocrity is the biggest contributor to the current state of GIA?

Mediocrity plus the rise of the football program. When I was in school (2000-2004) basketball was king and football was a side gig. The All Sports pass got you into all sports including football but basketball was a significant extra cost. I think it's reverse now. Football got good just as basketball got bad, I think that's the primary culprit. Travis Ford put the nail in the coffin when he couldn't do shit with Marcus Smart on the roster for two years. Attendance wasn't bad during Cade Cunningham's year so it can come back if we can ever see some extended success. The Thunder certainly are a factor but even if all OSU fans in OKC were committed only to the Thunder there are enough fans in Tulsa to fill GIA if we could get in the top 25 routinely and make tournament runs.

As an OSU fan who lives in the OKC burbs, I'm not driving all the way to Stilly on a weeknight to watch the shit they've been running out there for years. I wouldn't even make it in time for tip off, anyway. But to make it even, I quit watching on TV, too.

I get it.  I'm about as die hard of an ISU fan as there is, but during our 2-22 year I punched out completely.

I'd honestly like to see that.  I'd much rather you guys be a force in the league than say, Houston.
