Big 12 court makes the game 100% unwatchable what the fuck is that seizure inducing shit.

You get used to it but you never stop hating it.

Reminds me of New Jersey Nets court.

UConn misses down 7 and calls off the dogs, Creighton outlets and their lead guard decides to slam it home uncontested with a second to go. Fracas ensues

If we would’ve pressured the rim against Abilene Christian we would’ve won by 25

Too soon!!

Just tuned into the Tech game. That is one ugly ass court.

I just now realized it spells big XII

was like why are there a bunch of sideways mathematical symbols that show two expressions are equivalent next to multiplication symbols?

That UCONN dude should have just let it go. Or, maybe next game don’t lose.

It's the formula for the TV contract.

Was talking to my buddy before the UCONN game and I said I was thinking UCONN would beat Creighton and then St John’s. Charles said UCONN does not have enough inside presence so he was picking St John’s over UCONN. Seems he was more correct than I, even if we were both a bit incorrect

UCONN had no inside game. None, plus Creighton shot over 70% in the first half and 52% for the game. Hard to beat that. Will be very interesting to see how UCONN does next week

Heading to mass at St Patrick’s then some pizza at John’s, just off 8th Ave

Nice leisurely day before championship game

In a tussle of ex Longhorn teammates. Rowan Brumbaugh just missed a free throw with 13 seconds left. Memphis wins to save a bubble spot. Brumbaugh had 22 pts. Hunter had 7 with a 4 assist and no turnover game before going out with an injury.

derik queen just slapped the ball out of the hands of the michigan inbounder and the official did nothing. 👀

im watching auburn tennessee earlier and they won’t even let them play, just constant whistles early and often in the 2H, and now later on in the day i watch an official just refuse to call the most blatant violation i’ve seen all season. the inconsistency across the sport is maddening.

Great D, Terps

My lord

lol seriously. three guys in the lane, and none of them converge on the guard to cut off his path to the rim. queen with a half assed, late effort, but that’s about it. thanks for playing.

It was so bad, I would have assumed Shaka drew it up in the tournament

Pitino has done outstanding work with St Johns. Basically turned it in to a UH of the Big East. Just a brutal defensive team.

On the subject, no Jawan Roberts today but so be it Houston. Zone is just a pansy against a team of this caliber.

Pitino is scum. But separate that from coaching.  And when it comes to the latter he is fucking good.

2H score: 57-38.

I figured Pitino would do well there, but not this well. Dude knows ball. Been a long time since the days of winning basketball and ugly sweaters for St Johns

50-17 now after todays win.

One guy had 27 in the second half for the Johnnies!

Louis Jr. He won the tournament MVP. St. John’s is very good but, they have some flaws. I’m glad they won. First Big East Tournament championship for St. John’s since 2000. I think the other two were 1983 & 1986.

At one point in the second half they made 12, or 13, straight shots  it was really impressive. It might have been more than that but, I was getting distracted by the excitement

If you ever have a chance to attend the Big East, do it. MSG is special. The atmosphere is electric. It’s just super fun. We had the 13-year old daughter of one of my Pitt roommates with us tonight for her first-ever college game and she had a blast.

Some mentions on Bracketology...

Where is Texas for the NCAA tournament ?

  • ESPN -- Lunardi has the Longhorns in first four out with North Carolina, Boise State and Ohio State.

  • The Athletic -- According to Joe Rexrode, the Longhorns are seen as a "last four in" team. As such, they would play Indiana to find a final spot in the bracket. North Carolina is listed as a "first four out."

  • CBS Sports -- Jeremy Palm has the Longhorns missing the tournament because of the amount of losses. Sure, other teams made it in the tournament with records similar to the Longhorns at 19-15. Temple in 2016 did it with an 8-10 conference record. But that was before the quad system was introduced. Palm also has North Carolina missing the tournament.

  • Fox Sports -- Michael DeCourcy has the Longhorns as a "first four out" but the Tar Heels as a "last team in."
