Didn't see this one, but by the stat sheet it appears Carlson was really solid.

Just felt like we were in her 3 setter rotations more than Swindle’s. Both looked good - Ella looked better setting Mari. Carlson had some weird sets to her that led to errors

It is something like 115-1 since the 2009 season at home in conference play.

And we had a super long streak of home wins vs unranked non-conf opponents before the Miami loss earlier this year.

Apparently we are getting 1 NCAA committee top 16 reveal this year - October 20 during the Stanford-Pitt match

We will already have played Florida and Kentucky by that point.

The stats show Florida is a higher hitting % team (.310) than Texas (.265) and top 10 in aces per set (2.18).  But the graphic on Wednesday showed Texas has played one of the 5 or 6 toughest schedules in the country so far, not to mention our hitting percentages since we switched to the 6-2 is drastically better than prior to the Baylor match.

Hitting % under the 5-1: 243-100-659 (.232)
Hitting % under the 6-2: 248-75-572 (.302)

Texas went 3-3 under the 5-1, with a 13-10 set record
Texas is 6-0 under the 6-2, with a 15-2 set record

Serve receive is going to have be a lot better than it was against South Carolina though - looking at you, Emma.

Texas is better than Florida in kills per set, assists per set, digs per set and blocks per set and our opponent hitting % is significantly better (.199 to Florida's 2.17)

So -

Defense gotta do it's thing (digs/blocks)
Serve receive has to be strong(er)
Need the same efficiency from our pins and Singletary we've gotten the last 6 matches.

Gator VB at football game tonight throwing t-shirts. They're trying to break 10,323 attendance record vs Horns tomorrow with $2 tix and free merch at the game. Will be a larger crowd than aggy.

Wasn’t it like 17-8 in favor of UF at one point?

It was not pretty. Texas went on a huge run and stole that
