Both teams are led by freshmen setters, so just following Ella’s footsteps in setting their team to a natty as a frosh

Another fun fact. Louisville’s setter is the little sister Naomi Cabello who was a setter at Texas for 2 years (Jhenna Gabriel beat her out) before transferring to NC State.

Fleck was a monster, Logan was Logan and no one ever gives SKT the credit but she was one of the best setters we’ve ever had in only one year

Logan was the clear leader, but all of em man.  All of them.  Such a likeable team.

Likeable, yes. We expected them to win it all too

Last year was the surprise one. And that team was so likable too with Asjia and Bella and Molly

That ‘22 squad was incredible. Other than Cat, Logan is my favorite Longhorn female athlete all-time. Extremely talented and a great ambassador for the university. Nice dovetail with Lexi bolting and Logan reclassifying. I’m glad she got that ring. It’s a damn shame Cat never won one.

Real bummer DeBeer was injured.

Penn State having a reverse-2012. It was Micah Hancock’s injury in the semifinals that year that stopped them from a title. (and Texas benefitted by playing Oregon and not PSU)
