You don't run this board, so go fuck yourself.  Russia sucks.

It takes 10 minutes to vote every single fucking place I've ever voted.  Every county.  Every city.  Every location.  Driving 15 mins there was also not a deterrent.

The gaslighting has a more direct effect at times with people who are genetically predisposed for this kind of stuff. There isn’t a party line in the brain that says only one side can do it. Right now we just happen to be seeing the consequences of years and even decades of gaslighting towards people who are easy marks.

it's been a century

That's why they created the fake reality.  Court would be the place to prove their rationale and accusations but they got straight pantsed.  Sooo, back to spinning.

I had no idea this existed until now. Thank you.

Welcome to the GQP. The hits keep coming with seed, fattie, and mib

Dumber than lab rats that are fed cocaine but lucid enough to keep thinking people will agree with them if they just continue to lie.

Fuck.  I vote in one of the whitest, richest precincts in the state 10 minutes from my home, if not in my former elementary school (RIP).  I always wait in line at least an hour.

I have had mixed results in places I have been. Texas was the longest wait I had in an election back in Dallas. When I voted here in 2020 the line was pretty long and was encircling the block. Primary voting is usually walk in and walk right back out no matter the location.

Sorry if already posted, but here's a translated version of Putin's speech.

I haven't had time to finish it yet, but he's pretty clearly trying to lay out an argument that Russia was wronged and has the right to retake any former territories.

He claims the Bolsheviks in 1917 gave too much autonomy to regions of the Russian Empire as a way to maintain control and this was compounded by Stalin. He claims Ukraine is purely a creation of the Bolsheviks and never existed apart from Russia.

He claims the Bolsheviks and Stalin were weak and doesn't believe these regions should have been given autonomy. He especially does not think the SSR's should have had the ability to leave without preconditions and consequences.

If we'd agreed to keep them out of NATO to maintain a buffer for Russia, do you think we'd be where we are today?

Fuck Putin but we need to acknowledge that they are a (Texas sized GDP) superpower with a "sphere of influence". We don't want their missiles on our borders, they don't either. It sucks that Ukraine is where they are. Prisoners of Geography...

Ok. I understand the NATO argument.  However does Putin really think WE are going to start WW3?  This is his ploy to keep power so he isn’t hunted down and killed by rivals. This is a George Bush weapons of mass destruction bullshit argument.  I voted for him and it took lots of truth to realize I was dumb.

Maybe. I’ve learned from several here thru the years.

Maybe you can help me understand why you support a Party whose undisputed leader sides with the enemy at the onset of international hostilities?

Or why you’ve already chosen that party (and it’s leader’s refusal to concede a lost election) over the good of the country?

Easy.  The bold is false, and message board fodder.  But back to Russia, as to not offend the board.

That's the genius of Putin's plan. He will have 35-40% of Americans backing him shortly. He's already basically got Trump campaigning for him, so its just a matter of time til tucker, fox and the rest of the trump sycophants fall in line. If it didn't mean we were so fucked as a country, I'd applaud his ability to run circles around the idiots we elect.

You can tell them that racism is a blatant daily assault on other's rights and livelihood, and in many instances-- lives.  Putin is Communism, which is what your grandparents fought against and deprived many of their lives and/or livelihood.  And if they are against Socialism, they sure as hell aren't for Communism.  Ask them why they can't just be good people.  I've got the same prob and this is my argument.  Hey mom--your stepdad, the guy that stuck around, died fighting Commies and he's rolling in his grave knowing his daughter is supporting his adversaries.  He also was wounded and socialism is what kept him alive for as long as he lived--but that's another argument.

I really hate the alpha/beta bullshit, even if I do mock it/use it sarcastically occasionally.

But I think it absolutely applies in this instance.  Trump and Tucker see themselves as betas, and they see Putin as an alpha and they are acting exactly like you expect bootlickers to act.  Both Trump and Tucker grew up rich, Trump was too scared to serve in the military, Tucker looks soft as fuck.  Putin is going to be their ideal.

Others have rightly called out the fallacy of your your reply to this comment. I believe your refusal to address my second comment will ultimately be of greater import. Though this is a Russia thread, the greater good of the USA is of more concern.

The party of compassion.

Unless you’re gay. Or poor.  Or….fuck I could be here all night listing the groups that Republicans hate.

And being compassionate in the GOP these days gets you labeled as a RINO.  It’s all about being angry at somebody or something.

It should really make people wonder why when a foreign leader is about to invade (or already has invaded a country) would Tucker Carlson go on TV to defend him to his United States audience.  I get free speech and all that but the CIA/NSA/FBI should really be looking into what Fox News is broadcasting at this point.  It seems like Putin is bankrolling Tucker (or the Republican party) and since this is considered “news” it is as dangerous as yelling “fire” in a crowded movie theater if not more so.  I have a hard time believing that someone could have given Walter Cronkite some money back in the day and then he would go on national TV and tell us all about how Khrushchev is really a good guy since he didn’t try and take your jobs or call you a racist.  I prefer not to throw the word, “traitor” around too lightly but between Trump/Tucker/etc… we really are seeing traitors to our country and they aren’t even hiding it.

the right has one goal - owning the libs. that’s it and that’s all.

they would support hitler if there was a chance he could make biden look bad.

how many times do people have to tell us who they are before we say “oh ok”?

there is no plot twist, there is no quiet part, there is no bottom.
