Looking at the schedule, only see 2 more games where they should be favored. I’d love to see them 5-12 this year. Maybe that will be enough to get to JJ.

The beauty of this team is I don't have to root for them to lose, they'll go ahead and do it regardless. They have 3 games they could reasonably win: Atlanta, Giants on Thanksgiving, and the Bengals.

I don’t mean for him to make changes, I mean to cause him to shuffle off the planet.

Atlanta? They're much better than this depleted shell of the niners.

I will never trust a team with Kirk Cousins at QB. Just like I won't trust Dak in the playoffs. I hope Bijan gets 100 yards on this defense and a clown like Diggs.

The worst part about this is that you can't even consider cutting Dak until at least 2027 and even then it would be over 30 million in dead money. If you didn't give into his insane demands you could hope to tank and start over with someone on a rookie deal and spend the money elsewhere. We're probably looking at another few years at least of hoping to steal a WC bid only to get blown out before you can clean house and try again. Even that doesn't look great if JJ is the one calling shots on the rebuild.

Oh hey defense played like shit again and offense is playing from behind. Let’s decide which offensive player is to blame lol. Eat shit Jerry and diaf fat Mike.

Every top defensive player is injured and out. The offense has almost all of the high payroll guys on the team even without considering injuries, including the highest paid QB ever. This is a team that is built to win with offense with the offense carrying a decent at best defense. Salary cap requires it.

Somehow the defense held the niners to 6 points in the first half. Offense only scored 10 off of that. That's inexcusable.

Then after half time Aubrey fucked up the kick giving them the ball on the 40. For the entire 3rd quarter the offense went:

3 and out punt

Interception

Punt

That's beyond inexcusable. They don't start scoring until down 3 scores in the 4th and the niners relax on defense. Sounds familiar. Then the defense even gives them the ball back with over 3 min left to go win the game and they go 4 and out.

The defense isn't built to hold up all game long if the offense does nothing. The personnel and salary on that side of the ball isn't there.

Offensive line sucks.

Defensive line sucks.

Either Tolbert sucks or the coaching staff can't figure out how to use him properly while defenses are concentrating on Lamb. Doesn't seem all that complicated. Maybe partly both, but I think the scheming is the bigger problem. Even a schlub should get a few catches as the second wide out in a game like this.

GM definitely sucks.

Niners were definitely beatable, about as beatable as they are ever going to see any time soon. Coaches suck.

If paying your QB top 5 money doesn't give you an automatic 9 or 10 win floor, you shouldn't do it. It's that simple.

Dak is (or was) a phenomenal playaction passer. The offense should’ve been built around that. The run game is abysmal because they were behind the times on the new NFL which puts a premium on the short game and run game.

Jerry was humiliated that they paid so much on Zeke’s contract and he became the worst starter in the league. So, they overcorrected and now, they have the worst running backs and cheapest too.

I think Jerrah talks about cap so much because hes a salesman and uses it for PR and to build leverage.

Going 5-11 three straight years with Campo didn't get to him. He only hired Parcells cause he couldn't get financing for the new stadium with him calling the shots and the team rolling out 5-11 records every year. He left Parcells alone until the stadium financing was complete, then he started dicking with the roster again.

Remember, Jerry was the genius who thought Quincy Carter would take us to the promised land.

Dak is a scapegoat.  The team flat out sucks.  They are below average at all position groups outside of linebacker and cornerback (if they were all healthy).  Dak and Lamb's contracts are easy to point at, but those 2 aren't why they are losing games.  2 players can't overcome a shitty roster in the NFL.  All of the hate should be directed at Jones.  It really is all his fault.

We watched Hocus Pocus withe kids until 8 or so. Then I put the Cowboys game on and promptly feel asleep on the couch. Almost forgot to even check this score this morning. Got on espn.com to check what time the WS Series game started tonight, then remembered I didn't actually watch he game last night.

Oh please, Dak isn't a scapegoat.  He's absolutely part of the problem on the field.  His contract dictates he needs to play like a top 3 or 4 QB.  He's not even close to that.  But yes it is Jerry's fault for signing him to that contract since Dak wouldn't take less than everything he could and Jerry is too proud to let go of the QB he "found".  It was well within Dak's right to get everything he could and good for him.

Jerrah had the right to remain silent... just not the ability.

Tons of us said not to sign Dak at that price.  Fuck it...it's just money, and terrible QB play.

The bullshit thing is that Jerry had all the leverage (contract year, Dak wasn't planning on holding out) and he completely gave it away.  Just bad business.

Let the year play out then work a deal.  What's the worst that could happen?  Dak plays great and earns top pay? Awesome!

Alternatively if he sucks, like he does, let him walk or sign him at a discount.

Unless we draft lights out, or can find someone stupid enough to take Dak's contract off our hands, we're gonna be bad for awhile.

Jerrah = Boo-urns.

So the Cowboys will be represented by a fat, lazy, bumbling moron who is oblivious to the glaringly obvious situations of his life, and as a result continually offends and enrages the people around him?

Well, that's a stretch.

If they are losing toward the end of the game I watch for the schadenfreude. It makes me very happy to watch Jerry go through what I went through in the second half of the 90's and first couple of years of the 2000's. He finally is reaping what he sowed. We on the other hand stopped caring a long time ago. Don't get me wrong I will jump on that bandwagon if it ever comes close to going by me in my lifetime.
