I’m really starting to believe that schotty can get us over the finish line.

I do like how he's added some good coaches from a variety of sources.  I'm curious to see how connected Moore is, if he ultimately takes the NO job.

We have never been so far removed from a Super Bowl than today. What do we have that can stand a chance against that Eagles defense or Daniels at QB?

Don't be such a downer! We just need to upgrade one or two spots on the OL.  After that upgrade in protection, Dak will put up numbers that will make you forget all about the feebles and the commies. Plus it will fix the running game.

Considering the lack of risk at the HC position...the coaching staff itself has been pretty good hires to flat out creative.  Interested to see how the new ideas help.

In the end it depends on if Jerry and them learned from last year and will at the very least find some starting Calibur players in FA so the draft can really be a "draft the best players" approach and not reaching for guys where we shouldn't.

If they can find a solid WR, RB, DT, LB and OL(a LOT I Know), then they don't have to force WR or RB in the first 2 rounds like they need to now.

Didn't expect to be saying it but I don't mind a lot of the hires to the coaching staff and even find a lot of them to be good, reasonable decisions. But this team has earned me my right to doubt everything and always expect the worst.

It doesn't matter who the head coach is as long as Jerry and Stephen are running the show.  When it comes to the salary cap, the Jones family are the poorest rich people I've ever seen.

yeah if we just knock it out of the park in free agency and then hit on every draft pick we might be ok.  why doesn’t jerry make you GM?

I have no particular expectations about next season other than it will be a little different, and some the same.

Different is probably better, even if it is just a little. Kicking Mike to the curb is probably addition by subtraction, and the staff badly needed new and younger blood.

Get some more studs on the team and avoid injuries and see what happens. Wouldn't take a miracle to at least have a winning record again.

I don't expect some Division winning team either.  But with a healthy Dak they'll have a winning record(as they always do).  Might just be 9 wins, but that's not a reach at all.  They'll have a 3rd place schedule, and will most likely split the Eagles/Washington games getting them to probably 4-2 in the division.  I could easily see them going 6-5 if they're not gutted by injuries.  They won too many games last year with cooper rush and a no run game.

lol. You and the Fecals guy are a huge part of the Cowboys problem. Your hopium is a time waste. Dak is a league average QB and you fail to realize what the rest of the board knows.

That will keep you at pick 17-25 for the next few years

We can’t expect a winning season if the team doesn’t address its inability to run the damn ball. The team needs a big improvement on both lines.

Also, I think Parsons is wasted lining up as a full time DE/Edge, but that’s a separate conversation

Odds of getting to the NFC Championship for the first time in 30+ years is frightfully small

I blame the Super Bowl / Championship Game drought entirely on you mouth breathers who insist on calling them the "Fecals"

It is truly the dumbest shit ever and your family should be embarrassed about counting you among their ranks.

Yeah I'm expecting them to do something there...either stupidly using their first round pick on a RB or the new OC and some resources towards that.

and I agree...I'm not even close to saying they're NFC Title game bound or close to winning the division.  I think they'll be a 9-10 team regardless if they're healthy and don't improve much at all(as we mostly expect)

I wish ya'll wouldn't even quote that mouth breather or rex either...

Both are so pathetic they can't even respond to a legitimate post.

Glad I've ignored them, was worthless to even engage with those morons.

Brian is the second coming of Dave Campo. He and his staff = Brent Venables. This next season might be one of the worst Cowboys seasons since Dave Campo, or worse, Chan Gailey.

Campo was way worse than Gailey.

Nope, 9-8, 7-10, ad infintium ecce homo  perpetuum mobile via dolorosa infra dig.

it’s really pretty amazing that gailey put together two years with a winning record and two playoff trips (I believe) and he gets fired after two seasons for dave campo.  jerry GM’d the hell out of that coaching hire.

Not that i'm thinking they're going to be good at all...but I'd bet you're wrong. They'll win 9-10 games at least.  Campo was a 5-11 stallwart.

I know some of you guys don't even really remember him being the coach...just heard of him.

Stallwart?  Yes, he was low Calibur.

For the record, Chan Gailey could coach circles around Dave Campo. Gailey was left with an aging team filled with Barry Switzer rot.

“I feel like we compete with the Eagles and beat them for the most part when we play them. I don’t want to say check the record when they’re the guys holding the trophy right now, so credit to them, they’ve earned it and they deserve it by all means. But yeah, very close.”  Dak Prescott

Lol.

Once again, here are 16 NFL QB's I would still rather have as my QB then pay Dak Prescott $60 million.  I removed Aaron Rogers and Trevor Lawrence from the list and added Bo Nix.

I would agree with you with the exception of Goff, Darnold, Baker, Purdy, Love, Stafford and Caleb.

Jayden Daniels now has as many playoff wins as Dak Prescott. The fact that Prescott is the highest paid player in the NFL is insane.

He was basically Dak in Det and he's so old, and may retire.

The only similarity between Matt Stafford and Dak Prescott is that both are corporeal life forms.
