There is zero justification for kicking your former teammates on your way out of town. He may be correct, but its a bitch move and tbh, mindset also

He didn't kick the teammates. He kicked the Joneses. He's been there since 2014 I believe. He knows that place better than any player on the roster through 2 different coaching staffs. He knows they're never winning shit and no matter how good he is he can never change that. He was fine to stay and give his kids stability even if meant sacrificing a chance at a title, but he isn't doing that at a discount.

Him keeping that to himself won't make the disaster in the organization any better. Everyone needs to call it out for what it is.

You are putting words in his mouth.

You're saying he didn't mean to insult his teammates, but when one of his teammates responded, obviously because he felt insulted, he continued to insult that particular teammate.

As a player, complaining your team cant win because the owner doesnt sign enough good players...is insulting the teammates in the locker room

Big move going from a team that's won 31 games the last 3 seasons, to a team that's won 28 and signed Sam Darnold to be their playoff QB

he was clearly taking a shot at dak.  can’t win a title without a proven qb and he knows it.  dak is going to be paid more money for accomplishing less than anyone in the history of professional sports.  and that isn’t debatable.

I was subliminally rooting for Cupp to be a possibility, knowing it was both a longshot and also probably too risky to mess with. But the expected price was starting to look right. Stefon Diggs is probably a better but still not that likely a possibility. He may get caught up in the drying up market and have to find a team, and the Cowboys might be there waiting. Amari is a flat out no, and I wouldn't expect either side should really have mutual interest.

I think a WR like Tyler Boyd would make a lot of sense for the Cowboys. He's been a pretty productive and dependable number 2B or 3 type receiver for years, he's cheap, nobody's talking about him. he would probably be a clear number 2 WR for Dallas, and probably an upgrade over Cook. Can't really blame him for being stuck in a total dumpsterfire offense last season with the Titans.

A guy like Keenan Allan my be a possibility, at least would be a good veteran presence, not sure how much he las left in the tank. I could maybe see Tyler Lockett happening, but not really sure he's the type they really need. If you want a smaller dink type Elijah Moore would probably be a better value.

barely a fraction of what dak will earn in his career.

Indeed. Nobody can match Jerry's stupidity when it comes to being a GM.

Nothing will change until the son takes over and actually hires a real GM to run this shit show.

And I’m a Cowboys fan that spent 1K to take my son to the Saints/Cowboys game during week 2 last season. He is a Saints fan. The ride home to SA was miserable!

Well, they ran out of first round busts, I guess. Now going for second round bust Parris Campbell, who gets hurt tying his shoes. Six season of NFL, has only played in as many as seven games in two of them.

Stephen will be the GM and president of football operations. Charlotte will be ceo and run everything else.  Stephen has been running the thing for years.  He’s totally risk averse and would have never brought in Haley or Deion.  I think Jerry has exerted some force this offseason to get some shit done outside and let some of the homegrown fas go, like Tank.  I dread when Stephen runs it totally.  Charlotte is the only hope.

He kicked the entire operation.  He hasn’t played to his massive contract. He faded from his HotBoys schtick after Irving and Gregory and others drug issues.  He wasn’t getting an offer here, and a 3 year $42m deal is way more than he’s worth for a 33 yo underacheiver.

Loved DLaw, but he gone, no longer care. It was some typical bruised ego bullshit in the heat of the moment. He has said nice things since.

But what he said was factual. After he left the Cowboys for sure, he will never win a Superbowl in Dallas. Cute. He aint' winnin' one in Seattle either.

I wish him well, but it was time to get younger and cheaper at his position.

yeah but he’s making a lot more money.  if I’m gonna be losing games I’d rather make a few extra million.

Quinn to Dallas. Book it

Wouldn't be the worst thing for Quinn. He needs 2 to 3 full seasons of bench time to develop before trying to start. He's nowhere near ready for the NFL.

While you’re correct that he would benefit from a couple years of development, Dallas would be a horrible place for it. The Rams, sitting behind Stafford, would be great. The Cowboys organization is not known for development, stability or maturity.

He made $188 mil in Dallas and his last contract, 3 years $40 mill he played under that value.  Good for him his agent was able to get him another bag.  3yr $32.5 $18m guarantee.  Not worth that for a 33 yr old.

Glad to see Rush finally get a good bag. He’s a capable backup who has won nfl games with solid play.  2 years  $12.2 mil no post yet on guarantee.  I think $6 mil for a seasoned backup is a cheap date. So Will Grier is the presumptive leader not camp for qb2.  Meh.
