Dumb rule. Blocking a punt should be a reward, not a way to get fucked.

Said this years ago. It’s always been a dumb rule. Blocking a kick or punt should be dead ball or some when it passes the LOS. No return or touching needed.

Fold the fucking team.

If they just lost this game, that’s one thing.

the way they lost it is absolutely b pathetic.

and they fucked up winning the last 2 games.

Didn't that team win the Super Bowl, though?

indeed they did.  that team was relevant and that’s why we remember leon lett for that fuckup.  incidentally lett was a great player… but this team is not relevant and so we will never remember this play or the nameless player who touched the ball.

no.  dumbasses just need to know the rule or be told the rule by the special teams coach.  this is like the goal line fumble through the end zone rule.  it isn't dumb the players are dumb.

If it gets tipped but goes 25 yards, should that be “rewarded” in any way other than a bad punt?  Again, once it crosses rhthe LOS it’s just a bad punt.

hopefully he cares enough to leave so that we don't have 80% of the cap tied up in 3 players.

He’ll probably end up in Philly on a below market deal and get 25 sacks next year.

At least Parsons cares….i think.

He is a smart player and expects his professional teammates to be smart players as well. As should the coaches. As should we all. They aren’t making $20 an hour out there.

yeah it’s pretty basic.  blocked kick or no blocked kick, if the receiving team touches it it’s a live ball.  that player is a dipshit.

The get confused because they don't know the difference between a blocked kick that goes beyond the LOS and one that doesn't.

the special teams coach was explaining to him the rule on the broadcast on the sideline.  you could see the player kind of nodding his head.

Fassel is a fucking idiot.

It’s the same rule in TXHS, CFB, and the NFL. ST coaches meetings should’ve covered the hypothetical scenario. Roughly the same as Lett’s play vs the Dolphins decades ago.

On the flip side. I had chase brown and Jamar chase in my league in first place down 50 points and I’m gonna win lol

I had Burrow and Chase and won 158-157 on that TD. Also, respectfully, nobody gives a fuck about your fantasy team so shut the fuck up.

Luckily the dumbass is a fellow Penn State guy so maybe Micah won't torture him before he kills him

Every special teams coach from junior high school to the NFL is going to run that game film as a lesson in what not to do with a blocked punt. It will go on the shelf right next to the '93 Leon Lett play.

Banks is gonna look at the tape and analyze the punt protection upside down and inside out so he can figure out how to get that monkey off his back.

On Lamb's td catch, Eli wondered if he was bobbling it as he went out of the back of the endzone.  Peyton said, I have him on my fantasy team, that was a catch.
