Enjoying some HS football tonight.

Good for you.  God bless you.  You know who has some real experience with football?   Tim Walz.   Donald Trump?  Zero.  That Vance eyeliner guy?  Less than zero.  Or fewer sorry.

Yeah, that fucking sucks big dick. And it has zero to do with DEI. That has to do with the state of Texas not investing in higher education. I share your anger on this particular topic and it’s misplaced.

I don't disagree that Texas doesn't invest enough in education.  But, that doesn't have much to do with the difficulty in securing admission to the University of Texas these days.

Hey man, the FBI said the laptop and it contents were real in 2019. I think they had a hearing in June 2024. You might want to watch the Mark Z. Interview as well. Let’s just post facts please. That article is from 2020?

They said the laptop was authentic, in the sense that it was Hunter Biden's.  They have never confirmed the authenticity of all of its contents.  There was evidence that the contents had been tampered with, in the sense of accessed and potentially altered by someone other than Hunter Biden.

Some of the emails from Hunter that could be authenticated were used against him in his criminal trial to indicate things like he was still seeking drugs and considered himself an addict in the timeframe in which he purchased his gun.  These were authenticated by comparing them to the email accounts of those he sent the emails to or received them from.

There was no evidence implicating Joe that was ever authenticated or even placed in any kind of context, particularly a context of criminality involving Joe.

As far as facts, that link provides the letter itself.  I didn't intend to post the article.  I am largely sticking to the facts.  I'm not sure if you can tell the difference between facts and opinion.

Within this post we see the sum total of the intellectual, educated, and learned research and investigation which may lead one to vote Republican in this cycle.

Given a forum in which they may argue anything, based on any logic, to vote for their party with the promise of zero repercussion for their positions, the best they can muster is:

"Look over here! Football!"

It’s truly amazing to me that the ONLY commercials you see as a Texan that are pro-Cruz are anti-trans non-sense. How does he not have anything he wants to brag about? Allred’s latest ad calling Cruz a liar fucks hard. Cruz really might lose.

Yep. If/when he returns, he'll conveniently disregard the numerous posters who've fact checked his earlier points & offer no response to other thoughtful retorts. We'll hear more about how Trump really, REALLY loves America and that damn DEI is the reason why we're doomed with no supporting evidence for either declaration.

The last few pages of this thread should be required reading for anyone whining about the "CR Cabal" or whatever.

Multiple detailed, well thought-out posts explaining folks' problems with the current status of the Republican party.  Multiple former Republicans explaining exactly why they have switched sides of the aisle.  Multiple posts that are absolutely begging for a genuine, back and forth conversation.

And what's the response: fuckin' nothing.  I know y'all are all in here lurking - let's talk.

They don't want to talk for the same reason I don't want to fuck in front of an audience next to a bunch of porn stars.

It's the oatmeal cartoon dude.

i was just going to post that. effectively, now the only thing left for stros to do to complete the lifecycle of surly dumbfuck trump voter that can't defend in the indefensible is to wander into the other areas of the site and complain about what a "cesspool" cr is because one can't simply say stupid shit and not get called on it.

Thing is that the strategy is to make it humiliating to vote for Cruz.  Emotions > Logic

Can someone here, please explain to me how you vote for someone who gives a speech like this? This is verbatim from his speech yesterday in North Carolina:

"When I say insane asylums, and then I say, Doctor Hannibal Lecter, does anybody know? They go crazy they say, oh, he brings up these names out of - well, that's genius, right, Doctor Hannibal Lecter. There's nobody worse than him. Silence of the Lambs. Who the hell else would even remember that? I have a great memory but they always hit me.

I don't bring it up too much because they have to take such a - he brought up Hannibal Lecter. What does that have to do with this? What is it? It has everything to do with it, right? He was - that’s who we are allowing into our country and we can’t allow it in our country. So I've done something for you for you that I haven't done in 20 speeches, I brought up Doctor Hannibal Lecter and we're allowing him, you watch, you watch these fake people will say again, he brought up Hannibal Lecter has absolutely nothing to do. You know I do the weave, right, the weave it’s genius. You bring up Hannibal Lecter, you mention insane asylum. Hannibal Lecter. You go out, now there'll be a time in life where the weave won't finish properly at the bottom and then we can talk.

But right now it's pure genius hey, I have an uncle, my uncle, Uncle John, my father's brother, 41 years at MIT longest serving professor has so many degrees he didn't know what the hell to do with them all in the most complicated, I understand a lot of this stuff, you know, I believe in that. Like, I mean, Jack Nicklaus is not gonna produce a bad golfer. Right you know, that's the way it works it's just one of those things and it's in the family and it's whatever.”
