I didn’t get to watch this one, but Mizzou played us a lot closer than the 31.5 spread indicated. Looks like Rori and the team came out flat. Vic will likely blame himself in the presser for not having his players ready

If a couple of them have the flu, then it’s a safe bet that several more are getting over it, just feeling some symptoms, or are generally lower energy as their hopefully vaxed bodies are fighting it off.

Yep. Flat, sick/tired and a short bench

Yes. Not to mention it's probably easy for the No. 5 team, playing at home against gangly Midwestern farm girls with a mediocre record, to think they can go through the motions and win. Which is more or less what happened, in the end. It just wasn't the sort of game that generates much fan confidence.

Jak pacing us with 5 turnovers.

10 points on 4/5, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and one steal

let’s not talk about the 7 turnovers

Jones was 6-12 FG and fell to #3 (60.7%). Reagan Beers moved to #1 (62%) with her 8/8 night against LSU and Joyce Edwards moved to #2 without playing.

OU might have won if Beers had gotten more than 8 shots. Horrible coaching

Highlights are highlights but it looked like an open 3 point contest after the ejections. And apparently free throw contest as well.

This game had EVERYTHING - ejections, Mulkey slapping the notebook out of an assistant's hands, a combined score of 207, LSU nearly blowing a 24 point lead, 63 combined FTs, 53 combined fouls, 42 combined turnovers, 50 combined 3 point shots

As of today, Crème has us the 2 seed in Spokane 1 against UCLA. So the team ranked #5 and #3 in NET is #8 in his bracket?

STOP PUTTING US IN THE WEST

He has TCU as one of the other 2 seeds in Birmingham

SIAP. A great interview with Taylor Jones.

I've often stated in this forum that I fear her physical ceiling might be too low for us to win a national title in 2025. In part, that's due to her history of injuries. But she's made great strides lately and clearly is one of the main reasons we're where we are. In fact, there's an argument to be made that she's our MVP so far this season.

Texas A&M women's basketball has a hefty test at home Sunday at Reed Arena when the No. 7 Texas Longhorns make the trip to College Station.

For the last two games, the Aggies have played without their scoring leader, senior guard Aicha Coulibaly, who suffered a leg injury against LSU. On Thursday, A&M was blown out 72-51 against the Arkansas Razorbacks in a game where the offense struggled to score.

Against the Razorbacks, sophomore guard Solè Williams led with 13 points and tallied more turnovers (13) than assists (10). A&M was 5-for-22 from three, 18-for-56 from the field and had seven bench points compared to Arkansas' 21.

Now they have to face ranked, rival Texas in the hardwood version of the Lone Star Showdown.

The Longhorns completed a Thursday 71-60 win over the Missouri Tigers and are eighth in scoring offense with 85.3. Texas is also sixth in bench points, averaging 32.2 per game.

A&M will have its work cut out for it in a game where anyone on Texas can have a dominating performance. Senior forward Taylor Jones leads the team in rebounding with 151 this season (12.6 per game) and sealed the Horns' win over Ole Miss. Sophomore forward Madison Booker is Texas' leading scorer, averaging 16.1 points per game and is a force on the block, as well as junior center Kyla Oldacre, who averages 9.6 points per game. Senior guard Rori Harmon, who returned from an ACL injury she suffered last season, leads the team in steals averaging 2.5 per game.

With all the assets Texas has, it will be a battle for A&M 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
