Yes, unfortunately, and that project is over. She’s always hurt, and frankly, not really good to begin with.

if she is truly 6' 9" she is only 3 inches short of the tallest living woman.  it seems like it would be similar to being a 7'10" male.  crazy.

Elite 8 matchups if today’s AP poll decided the seeding. Getting the # 1 overall would be a huge advantage

#1 Texas v # 8 UNC

#2 UCLA v #7 LSU

#3 Notre Dame v. #6 SCAR

#4 USC v #5 UConn

This is why getting one of those top 2 seeds is going to be important.

There's a huge disparity between Scar/Uconn and UNC/LSU.

There are only 6 teams that can win it all, and they are Texas, SCAR, USC, ND, UConn, and UCLA. Getting the #1 overall or #2 overall allows you to avoid one of those 6 teams in the elite 8, assuming no big upsets. Sorry not sorry to Mulkey’s team that could pull off a tournament upset but isn’t a championship contender

Idk why fans are so meh on the #1 ranking. It means nothing in the long term since AP poll isn’t a determining factor in committee rankings, and it’ll be moot on Thursday when we are not #1, but this team is riding a 10 game winning streak, including wins over 2 recent national champions, and is poised to finish the regular season with 13 straight wins

It’s a huge accomplishment to what they have achieved.

Watching this as a non-Texas fan, I'd be among the many who question our ranking.

Yep. We play to the opposing level of competition wayyyy too often. That’s a good thing when facing top teams, but makes us look highly inconsistent when playing bad teams.

However, this game may end in a blowout. Too early to tell.

Georgia's bigs seem a lot stronger and more agile than ours.  Defensively they are winning the battles near the rim including rebounds.   I noticed Coach had both bigs in at the end of the quarter

Come on, can’t say yall couldn’t see this coming a mile away. And it’s not like we are an offensive juggernaut .

once teams shutdown our bigs we struggle to score, specially when Booker isn’t being aggressive. Good thing about it though that usually only happens for a half, after that Vic gets in their ass and either Booker becomes aggressive or the bigs do, so it’s like a pick your poison after halftime.

I'd give the three freshmen more minutes and tell Booker she has to get into the head of the key way more often. Can't bust a zone by passing around the arc and then launching wayward jumpers. Play like champions.
