“Losing” that coin flip didn’t help.

IDMAS. It might have hurt us had we won - we would have gone up against much much much better offensive teams on the other side. Ole Miss isn’t a good offensive team and LSU was without FJ

We probably are sitting at home if we were the 1 seed

Souf Carolina is just following their scouting report, which is the same scouting report every team will use against us in the tournament—pack the paint and force Texas to beat you from outside

Laughing stock. Rori needs to move on, we need to find an offensive PG and get Chavez. Or we are going to run into the same problems forever and ever

Had to go 12 rounds with Ole Miss, then another 10 rounds with lsu….getting the #1 seed gave SC an advantage they did not need.

Let the seeding go. South Carolina would have done the same thing if they were the 2 seed

it's like every flaw in this team is showing up and being exploited at once.  This is ugly.

The flaws have been there, we knew we couldn’t shoot, we knew we weren’t that athletic , we knew Harmon, Booker and Hollie played a lot of mins all season and we knew we were offensively limited.

for whatever reason I guess Vic just wanted to see how long he could get away with it but hopefully this will open his eyes

This.

this was going to happen regardless of the seed. You’re playing Souf Carolina in a home environment.

Feels like this team needs a wake up loss anyway

One of the ugliest halves I've witnessed. They're asleep. I don't think it's really that SC is playing great it's just Texas is not playing smart and shots aren't falling

If USC wins and we lose by double digits then I think they get the #1 overall seed

The question is does a blowout loss drop us or 2 or 3?

Nah I don’t think so. We’re locked into a number one by the grace of God

I mean the second #1 or the 3rd #1

I believe he meant to the second or third one seed. Not to the two or three line.

Edit to see your clarification—a blowout can gave that implication yes. I’ll remain hopeful that it wouldn’t but this was a concern of mine, especially if USC beats ucla

Oh yah, we could lose by 50 and we wouldn’t lose our 1 seed

Just where the 1 seed pecking order we end up

I'm not sure any serious Texas fan expects a national title this season. Hopefully it happens once another solid wave of talent is added. With our clear offensive woes, this season we'll do well to make the Final Four. In short, for now we're almost the UH men's program, getting by more on coaching and defensive grit than anything else.

This team is so good yet the one flaw we have is the reason I don’t think they can win it all. Can’t remember a women’s champion getting destroyed like this then going on a run. SC is still the team to beat in the tourney so would love to get a rematch in the championship game.

That’s a really good comparison

How did UConn crush this SCAR team in Columbia?

They have pure, quality shooters. It’s one of the reasons they are favored to win the NC

On January 24, LSU Tigers head coach Kim Mulkey said, "I don't think I've ever coached against a team with 10 McDonald's All-Americans on the roster," after her team was beaten by Staley's Gamecocks squad by a score of 66-56.

She made that statement more about how great of a coach she thinks she is than how good of a roster Scar has haha. What a bitch I hate her.
