Amoore is a little energizer bunny but don't believe UK has anyone that can matchup or handle Madison, feel it should be a comfortable win for the Horns.

Amoore presents a huge problem, but she's going to run into 2 very quick guards who can defend her in Harmon and Preston.

Should be a great chess match -

Amoore vs. Harmon/Preston
Oldacre/Jones vs. Strack
Can UK handle Booker at all?

Bonus points if we can get at 3-4 treys from Holle/Lee

Kentucky has run into 2 teams who uglied up the game and beat them - Ole Miss held them  to 57, aggy held them to 55.  Texas aims to hold opponents in the 50s as well. You know Vic has been binging those 2 games over and over again.

We didn’t do a good job containing Hidalgo on the road, but I don’t think Preston had many minutes in that one. Hopefully Preston and Harmon can get a better time split so they’ll have fresh legs when they’re defending her

She was a problem, but that was also 8 games into the year and less than a year post-ACL for Rori. I’d like that matchup a lot more in February or March than early December

The Aggie game was a poor shooting night, OM, although behind at the half, appeared much quicker than UK and kicked UK’s ass on the glass, especially offensive from what I watched in 1H.  Like most things UK, I hope they make it respectable looking.

The way OM killed y’all on the offensive glass is why I like the is matchup. OM and Texas are similar defensively and Texas is a very good rebounding team.

At least we get OU and aggy in Austin, but will we get SoCar at home or on the road?

On a Zoom call, Texas coach Vic Schaefer just said that LSU will be the Longhorns' home-and-home opponent in SEC play next season. South Carolina was the only team that appeared twice on UT's schedule this season. #HookEm

Playing Mulky twice a year just like the old days. I see you SEC schedulers

Don’t know how many minutes Preston will play but hopefully it’s at least 20 and she’s guarding amoore for all 20. So rori can guard her hard for 20 and maybe get a break guarding someone else the other 20 (or even sit for 5 lol)

I’m glad she decided to move on from Texas.

It's actually ridiculous the SEC front office would rather try to force Texas into some weird non-rivalry home/home with SoCar and then LSU, and not let us play our 2 biggest rivals twice at Moody and their house.

The SEC either just wants to feature marquee teams playing multiple times OR OU/aggy are adamantly against playing Texas twice.

But either way, it's dumb.  I actually miss the Big 12 round-robin basketball schedule.

My guess is they want Texas/LSU and Texas/Souf Carolina a lot because of the status of the programs.

A&M sucks and no one really watches ou women’s basketball like they did when Coale was there. A Texas/A&M women’s game will stay on the SEC network whereas Texas against Souf Carolina or LSU will get the big girl channels (like we’re seeing this year).

I don’t mind that.

And that's why I said go to 18.  Let us play our rivals twice + whichever top tier SEC program you want Texas to play twice for the eyeballs.

TV may not care, but Texas @ OU (on ESPN2) got 8k on a Thursday night.  Higher attendance than our Thursday night games at Moody.

4676 at Reed Arena for aggy, considering they were 10-11 and it was 5pm on a Sunday.  Texas probably could have cracked 6500 for aggy being in town on a Sunday evening or Thursday night.

Fans will show up at Moody - we had 8k for a shitty Arkansas team and we have had between 6600 and 7500 for our Thursday night games against Bama, Tenn, Mizzou and Vandy

Too many fouls. damn

Calling some ticky tack shit but not when Booker gets rocked on a screen

Lyle and Peck rooting for UK like they’re scrappy underdogs and not #8

Key is the problem today, not Amoore. Gotta keep her off the boards

In truth, not much we're doing on offense is a recipe for success.

Get it to Smiley. That’s working

Booker is giving us nothing.

Booker still goes into her shell on the road.

Once she starts driving it hard, they'll have no choice but to foul her. She's been deferring way too much so far.

With Rori in foul trouble, our guards aren’t looking to score, especially the two freshman. Each have gotten into the lane multiple times and haven’t looked at the basket at all.

Need Booker to take over some on offense to get more from the guards.
