Not much rest.  I think they said 2PM CST for the championship game tomorrow.

Get the ball inside like in Austin.

South Carolina's weakness is size inside. The good news is with all our foul trouble our bigs should actually be pretty fresh.

We barely won on our home court….we are, for all purposes, playing at their home court….makes a difference….I’d bet we are underdogs, and rightly so.

Always happy to win. Tremendous team effort for 40 minutes. But I'll admit it was hard to watch another long-range brickfest and not long for a certain guard from Lubbock.

That locked up a 1 seed. Which one determined tomorrow.

Ehh, I’m 60/40 on this.

I think getting to the Championship game *should* solidify us as the #1 overall, but I could also see the committee giving that to USC if we lose tomorrow and they win.

Ugly shooting but like Mulkey said this type of game is actually how Vic wants to play.

I think this team is much more likely to lose in a shootout against a team like ND that dropped 80 on us than a grind it out affair like tonight. The uglier the better for us.

True. But making a lot more of our jumpers in a grind-it-out type of game would have given us a much easier win and presumably let us rest our starters a bit. Anyway, a discussion for 2026.

I didn’t say #1 overall hence the which one tbd.

Right which is why I replied. There’s a part of me that doesn’t think “which one” of the 1 seeds we are is relevant because we have the #1 overall seed wrapped up regardless of what happens tomorrow.

That’s all

This was a weird game. It was obvious Mulkey knew they couldn't guard Jones and Oldacre inside so early in the game she was sending 3 players at them.

Then the gameplan completely adjusted once Mulkey realized the refs were allowing LSU's bigs to foul.

I always enjoy beating Mulkey….we’ve lost a lot of games to her….Vic can handle her.

Love a 2 game winning streak over the sea hag. Let’s see what she can do next year without Morrow or FJ (if she enters the draft, she’s eligible)

I hope Carlton sticks things out because she's an insanely good rebounder.

Carlton at the 4 with Jak plus Oldacre at the 5 could potentially be an even better offensive rebounding team next year. Carlton and Oldacre is going to be hard to handle inside once Carlton figures out what she's doing.

Love Carlton's potential. At times it's painfully clear she's not going all out, which doesn't cut it with Vic. That said, she really needs to stay, because she has so much talent around the basket on both ends.  I wonder if simply dropping a few pounds might help her quickness and stamina without sacrificing strength on the boards. Maybe be she's still growing into her body. If so, this offseason will be key.
