WRT Shuster- she explains the Michaels relationship, which the Wiki bio details just make sound more creepy. Lorne Nichaels is six years older, and she was 17 when they married. He was a 20 year old dating a 14 year old.

That was interesting, I didn’t realize who her dad was or that she was related to the Superman creator:

Shuster was married to Saturday Night Live's creator, Lorne Michaels, from 1967 to 1980. The pair first met in junior high school, when Michaels, born Lorne Lipowitz, followed her home hoping to meet her famous father.Together Shuster and Michaels wrote and performed comedy sketches through high school, summer camp, and college. They began their TV career on The Hart and Lorne Terrific Hour show for Canadian TV on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Appearing on the show were Dan Aykroyd and Gilda Radner, among others. Shuster and Michaels moved to Los Angeles to work on The Lily Tomlin Show for ABC, where they also met Laraine Newman, whom they invited, along with Aykroyd and Radner, to join the Not Ready for Prime Time Players for Saturday Night Live.

I need to check YouTube for a shitload of Akroyd and Radner stuff on Canadian shows.

Hopefully they ain’t bone until later later. Like way later

She’s Jewish. They may not have banged until well after the marriage.

I only dated two Jewish girls though so my sample size is small.

Enjoyed it on airplane last week.  Led me down the rabbit hole to watch first episode on Peacock and keep going.

I did same once the movie finished.

went straight to the cock and watched season 1 episode 1.

It really is interesting to watch the first episode after watching the movie.

The puppets….all the voices from Fozzy, Rolf, and some of the others….Chevy almost botching the weekend news.  Carlin straining with his monologues.

I have a 15 year old daughter. I don’t trust 15 year old boys, and my level of distrust rises exponentially with the age of any suitor.

Rules…

Watched it last night. Whoever said it was good but forgettable 5 minutes after is spot on. Used to be an SNL fanatic so I enjoyed it. But I probably wouldn’t rewatch it if it came on TNT. On a flight? Maybe
