Funny.  If Deion had been remotely humble in 2023 and 2024 (we are rebuilding, young team, respect criticism), we'd all be cheering for them.

Now, we want just enough success to survive an not enough failure for him to get shit-canned.  We want him in eternal purgatory.

Nope. Not me at least. I want an implosion akin to a black hole.

Maybe racist?!?

Was he? Compared to normal human beings, sure. Compared to other high caliber wide receivers? His hands were just passable.

That's a very different way of phrasing it and I think he was better than passable. Saying a guy that caught 1,000 balls in the NFL wasn't a natural pass catcher is ridiculous. His catch % is fairly in line with all the other greats around him on the receptions list - especially if you exclude his last few seasons.

Like - the baseline catching ability for 1,000 NFL receptions is pretty fucking high.

Colorado down 3 at halftime to an FCS team, and looks exactly like the 2nd-tier early 2000s Big 12 team they were last year...... But all the talk is about how incredible Shedeur is and how the fucking kicker gets his own entrance music. ESPN really going to hype them up until that 4th loss hits before November.
