Would rather listen to the Mariachi over 80% of the mainstream nonsense they pipe in. Best option would be have LHB play more during timeouts, but that doesn't seem to be possible for whatever reason.

The bathroom situation at halftime in the North and East upper decks was the worst I've ever seen. Lines were about 2 sections deep at the ones I saw, although they did move at a pretty good pace. Probably more of a volume or user-error problem rather than a CDC issue.

The only people who give a fuck about the band are message board users. Nobody going to the game gives to fucks about if it’s the band or piped in music.

- They still have not figured out how to take people's money fast enough to move them out of the concourse.  It is so crowded that it could be dangerous.
- West side  upper deck - south men's bathroom had around 0.5 cm of standing water near the toilets.

The concourse does get dangerously crowded, they do need to do something about that. It seemed extra bad this game. The concourses have not been expanded for forever but there are more seats and there is more stuff in the concourse blocking the way and it gets impossible to move. That bathroom does have issues, it also had standing water like that after the Florida game. I had not noticed it being extra nasty before this season.

Dabo as Grinch was great, as was the disclaimer before the Clemson video. Too bad they didn't find any highlights of Clemson vs OU or A&M or they could have got a cheer, that would have been funny.

Couple more thoughts on yesterday's game:
- They still have not figured out how to take people's money fast enough to move them out of the concourse.  It is so crowded that it could be dangerous.
- Many people act as if they've never attended an event where there are 1000s of other people in attendance.  They look down at their phone and stop walking.  When there is a clear straight path, they walk like they are sailing upwind.
- Mariachis were fine for about 80 seconds. Then it took the entire 3 minute timeout.  Then, they went on a second time. Destroyed all of the energy in the stadium.
- West side  upper deck - south men's bathroom had around 0.5 cm of standing water near the toilets.

I sat in 104 yesterday.  Fans were great.  View was great.

What the fuck is 0.5 cm of water? A flood? A puddle? This is America got dam it, use inches pr something relevant

Have you done polling on this issue? Because I think this is bullshit. I believe a lot of college football fans happen to enjoy listening to college marching bands.

Before yesterday, I hadn't been to a game in DKR in 9 years (how long I have lived in Singapore).  I had a great time and I thought the gameday experience was much improved.

The stadium was loud, the fans were engaged.  No one was bitching about standing up.  The entertainment was pretty good (the Mariachi band was ok to me).  The drones were amazing.  The enclosed south end makes it MUCH louder. The game was as loud (at times) as the '90 Houston game (although not as sustained).

I first went to a game in game in 1979 when I was 12 years old. I worked at the Alumni Center selling cokes with my mom.  I always got into the game for free.  I use to go in high school (Austin High bitches) and would usually get free tickets from someone outside, or just be let in (I never bought a ticket until college).  From '79-2013, I maybe missed less then 20 home games total (I lived outside of Austin for 4ish years), I also attended ~100 road games/bowls/RRSO.

I had season tickets in section 4, row 15 (about the 35/40 yard line behind our bench) from '92-2013.  Yesterday I sat in the end zone on the north side and had pre-game in the Terrace Club.

Things that could have been better

  • They didn't show replays for about 50% of the plays - some of them important.
  • The play-clock is a in a very weird place in the south endzone (IMO).  It's offset and hard to focus on (It use to be more centered and closer to field level).
  • I'm not getting the reason for the smoke. Copying the dutch F1 fans is a bad thing to do...
  • Exiting out of the north endzone was a pain with crowded ramps.

The entry into section 108 has the womens restroom entry and the concessions line basically all within 5 feet of each other.

3 huge masses of competing interests.

There really should be no scenario where it is so packed with people that literally no one is moving, but that is what is happening - especially at halftime.

If you goal is to bore the fuck out of the fans, then play the mariachi for the entire 3 minutes. If your goal is to fire up the fan, then do NOT play the mariachi for the entire 3 fucking minutes. I was kinda pissed when they played them the second time. I thought I was watching a talent show contest.

They should play For Whom the Bell Tolls as loud as possible.

A lot.

My only gripe is whoever the fuck is in charge of the replay/jumbotron was so fucking atrociously bad it really made the in stadium experience inferior for people who actually want to watch football.

I almost pulled up a stream just to watch replay.

I will be sharing images from the game but I like this Tigernet.com quote from a Clemson fan who attended the game.

"From what I saw, our home field advantage doesn't compare to what I saw this weekend. We've got some work to do in regard to fan engagement, music, pompoms, beverages, drone shows, lights, etc. Death Valley is not what it used to be unfortunately."

When you pull up to your home stadium in a fucking bus, fully dressed, you are not CFP worthy.

Yeah, I can do without this. Its not really good to breathe, and the smoke gets trapped in the stadium bowl. There is usually plenty of incidental smoke from fireworks already.

I do really like the colored lighting that we can do now. The orange looks really weird, being the opposite of green, but it seems disorienting so its a good thing to inflict on our opponents.
