Kirk is stupid. The flag was thrown "late" because Williams had to touch the ball first before the flag could be thrown. It was a complete shit call, as I think the official got confused by WR inside WIlliams.

Lol at the ref only throwing the flag after the touchdown. Games are fixed

Alabama got fucked out of TD with bogus late flag.

Can’t call illegal touching until the player touches the ball. Thats why it was late

Milroe is Temu Vince Young.

Funny how none of the QBs going into next year's draft seem like they want to get paid.  Teams are desperate though so some of them will be going in the 1st round to eventually get some GMs fired.

This is a horrible QB draft. Thats why I find it hilarious Cowboys fans want to to tank for one.

Yeah that’s pretty egregious. It would have been illegal man downfield if he was actually covered. That ref should be investigated

Marshall gets a TD and 2 pt conv and the lead (again).  35-28

This game has turned into a slug fest or tennis match.  Back and forth with the lead and TDs.

how the hell is the call not reviewable.

its just like a 12 man on the field penalty, you can go look to see afterwards and count the number of guys.     seems kind of shitty that the ref fucks up that bad that he loses track of which receiver was lined up

Lol.

Why field that. Just get out of the way.

yeah.  I get that it may have surprised him by bouncing towards him but once you decide to let it drop get the F away from it.  there is nothing you can do at that point anyway.

So why did this they lose possession? Shouldn’t it have been 4th and 7?

The illegal touching results in a loss of down so that's why OU got the ball back

That wasn't the call. It was illegal touching, which is why it was a loss of down. You can't be the 1st to touch the ball if your aren't an eligible WR. It's the same call when if an OL is the 1st to touch the pass. Same as when if the player stepped out of bounds and was the 1st to touch the ball.

If the pass had been to another WR then it would have been illegal man down field.

The Line Judge had that one in his bag.  He was waiting for Williams or one of the Bama guys to make a big play.   He knew that he could always bring it back.  That was planned.

Holy shit, nope. You don't understand the rule that was called.

Illegal touching carries loss of down

ineligible downfield is only 5 yards

Yeah exactly. But what I’m saying is that the moment the ball was thrown the flag should have come out if he was ineligible. The fact the ref waited is what makes me question it. The call would have been determined upon meeting of course so it’s possible this would have been discussed, but waiting for the wr to catch the ball is to me a little controversial

Maybe he tucked it in weighted side down and struggled to get it out of his pants because he’s stupid.

I understand exactly what it was.   You on the other hand, need some help.

stop being an idiot.

the call was horrid, abyssmal, unconscionable.... but that isnt the fucking reason the flag wasnt thrown until Williams caught it.

as you were already told, the ref was under the impression he was an inelligible receiver, so until he touched the ball first. it couldnt be a flag.

Shut up dumbfuck, I never said anything about the flag coming out when Williams caught it.  Unless your dumb fucking ass can't read.
