Jesus tapdancing Christ, they're talking about whether or not they'll get into the playoff if they finish 10-2.

The better question is what happened to make all those other teams forfeit so many games??

Now the headsets weren't working on offense?

"I was right there. I could see them communicating on defense, but when it went to the offense."

Ya. I wasn't really there, but their screeners ate it up

It's almost like hiring Collin Klein to call plays with a shitty OL and taking QB power out of his toolbox wasn't a smart move.

I think they need to keep trying it. Just need more practice.

Good stuff. lol

LOL

Mizzou/LSU/Texas are all better than ND, aggy will be luck to finish the season with 5 losses.

Wouldn't bet on it with LSU and MIzzou, LSU in particular. That Tiger defense is still a big question mark, Jayden Daniels is gone, and their OC went to ND. ND's offense should get better as the OL gets experience. The defense still seems pretty good from last year, but hard to gauge given CW's struggles.

RC Slocum made a comment after a Game 1 loss one day saying something like, "This is what happens when I schedule a tough out-of-conference opponent to satisfy our fans!"

This loss reminds me of that.

They were delulu even back in 1998. After a 2-score loss:

Quote

Let the record show that on Aug. 31, 1998 - a day that will long be remembered for the dramatic decline of the Dow - Texas A&M's stock was probably the only one that rose significantly. Across the Hudson River from Wall Street, the Aggies made a major impression on a national television audience, a huge media gathering and 59,232 fans inside Giants Stadium. A&M stood toe-to-toe with No. 2 Florida State in last Monday's Kickoff Classic XVI, building a 14-10 halftime lead that left many FSU fans looking as bewildered as the Big Apple's stock brokers had appeared earlier in the day.

Eventually, the Seminoles' sensational collection of athletes proved to be too much for A&M, as Florida State dominated the second half en route to a 23-14 win. Even in the loss, however, the Aggies earned a significant measure of national respect.

Exactly 26 years later, they lose at home by nearly an identical score. Same as it ever was for these clowns.

Aggy had no sacks .... against an O line that had, what, six total starts or something?

With a true freshman at LT.

The Elk's defense doesn't play for sacks. It stays disciplined to contain long runs.

I wonder what the letter from the random ND fan will sound like this week?

Something about a visiting family of ND fans being directed by a kindly aggy corpsturds to the campus Catholic chapel to attend the special pre-game Mass.

Elko has Charlie strong written all over him.   Can’t manage a big program in its entirety.   Tinker with the defense and the offense falls apart.   Tinker with the offense and the defense slips back.   It’s too much for him.

both had good careers as a D coordinator.   Both had limited success at smaller schools with players they didn’t recruit.   Unlike Strong, the ags are saddled with jimbos fucking contract AND fat boys contract.   They are fucking stuck.

They didn’t actually run that well except for those 2 long runs. Yea fuck nuts YPC accounts for that.

AKA, the game’s only two TDs.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln…

“Take out their scoring plays and they really didn’t do much.”

Glorious.

Here are some thoughts/observations about yesterday's performances.  Vanderbilt mustered up some moxey and took down VaTech.  Nice.  Right now, I think they could do the same to aggy.  Aggy offense?  Anyone seen it?  Clearly, it's not there, sorta like the French in a war.  They need help, without Moss yards are gonna be hard to come by.  Domers offense was slightly better with Love and Price at RB.  Domers also had a better edge at QB.  Leonard showed some guts.  Think I'll slide over to txags forum and take a look at some of the comments this morning.  Should make for some funny shit to read.  Loved it, it was great, and I intend to bask in it all day.

Stupid sip, those were just lucky runs and a&m was unlucky not to break off a game winning run and even if they had they would totally be talking about their QB problem today and not how they’re obviously a playoff team

Has Looooch made an appearance yet or is he balled up in a corner sucking his thumb?

Dude, he and Johnny are passed out, face down on the floor in the Bryan Motel 6. There may or may not be a dead hooker laying in the bed. Did you expect an update this morning?

Because it was whistled as a false start, which it clearly was not. The line was solid despite the defensive jump, so I would agree it was a shit call.

The RT jumped. Rewatch it

I didn't watch whole game, but Texags talking one pass attempt over 8 yards?? Is that true?

I don’t think that’s literally accurate. But there was a stat flashed on passes over 5 yards in the air and it was comically abysmal.
