Love the James Bond pose after he scores. Did it last night too.

Given that Bond may be one of the honkiest honkies that ever honked, it's kind of cool that a young black kid would do this.  Maybe there's hope for us after all.

Typically when he touches the ball my immediate reaction is “he gone.”

Been right more times than wrong, the way he turns the corner is world class.

Former Texas WR and current NFL Draft prospect Isaiah Bond turned himself in to Frisco (TX) Police this morning for a matter related to an outstanding warrant for sexual assault, Frisco PD told The Insiders.

He posted bond and was subsequently released.

A statement from Isaiah Bond:

“Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false.  I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation.  Unfortunately, claims like these prove to be harmful to all involved, absent full review.  I kindly request that all reserve judgement until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence.”

IDGAF, I like what Bond brought to the table before he got hurt. I highly doubt he was pouting (as some people were suggesting) about being on the sidelines. If that kid could go, he would have gone. I hope he gets in the 1st two rounds. Makes us look good.

An affidavit obtained by WFAA on Friday revealed new details about the alleged sexual assault by former Texas Longhorns wide receiver and NFL Draft prospect Isaiah Bond.

Bond turned himself in to Frisco police Thursday morning on an outstanding sexual assault warrant with allegations dating back to February.

According to the affidavit, officers met with the victim, an adult woman, at Methodist Dallas Medical Center on Feb. 6.

The woman told officers that Bond initially sent her a direct message on Instagram and that the pair eventually started texting each other, the affidavit states. Over text, Bond told the woman he would be in the Frisco area for training related to the upcoming NFL Draft and asked if she would be willing to meet up, per the affidavit. The affidavit says their text conversations then turned to mutual discussions of having sex and engaging in one act in particular, which the victim said she would consider.

According to the affidavit, the two eventually met in person on Feb. 4 and began a consensual sexual encounter after drinking wine. During their interaction, the affidavit says, Bond brought up the notion of the act they'd previously discussed in their text exchanges. Per the affidavit, the woman told Bond in that moment that she was not comfortable with trying it. According to the affidavit, Bond began engaging in that act anyway. The document says that the woman asked that Bond stop while physically pushing him away from her and telling him she was in pain, but that Bond continued the act while using his body weight against her and covering her mouth.

After their encounter, the affidavit says, Bond told the woman, "alcohol makes me do things" and asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The woman refused to sign the NDA and left the apartment, per the document.

After leaving, the affidavit says the woman texted Bond, saying, "Isaiah you were wrong for that I asked you to stop and you kept covering my mouth. I'm in a lot of pain."

Bond responded, "You want a 1000 I'm really sorry!" and "Would that make it feel better," the affidavit states.

According to the document, the woman was shocked that Bond offered her money, so she responded "What? 5k," and then "1k? Like you asked me to sign then you offer me money? So you know what you did that's why you covered my mouth."

While meeting with officers at the Frisco Police Department on Feb. 20, the affidavit states the woman texted Bond again as part of a "pretextual interview," and when the woman asked him for an apology, he responded with "I did..." The woman responded, saying, "apologizing by trying to pay me isn't a real apology Isaiah you really hurt me and I kept telling you to stop," to which Bond replied, "I'm sorry," according to the affidavit.

From that point on, the affidavit states, the woman was unable to make contact with Bond.

Charges of sexual assault were then filed, and the former Longhorn turned himself in on April 10, then shortly thereafter posted bond and was released from jail.

In a post on X, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport shared a statement he obtained from Bond that read, "Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false. I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation."

Bond transferred to Texas ahead of the 2024 season after two seasons with Alabama. After this past season ended, Bond declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Somebody had his lawyer write a statement.

Was this bitch the worst portal bust so far for the program? Came in as the #1 receiver in the program. He was good before OU, tweaked an ankle, and completely checked out the rest of the season. Was invisible in the conference title game and playoffs.

Then he puts the University and program name in bad press with this garbage.

If that's true, she has the text messages. Would like those to go public, and for the University and program to put out a release saying Bond is no longer a part of the longhorn family and no longer welcome on campus for any reason. They torpedoed our basketball program for less

Interesting that he claims that he will "prove" the allegations to be false. Either the texts are real, in which case he is fucked, or they are not and this becomes another he said/she said situation.

If you have a stack of NDAs in your nightstand drawer you're probably into some fucked up shit.

My guess is that he learned this legal tactic shit at Alabama.

I can’t see Sark & Co. teaching this to bad apples.

Well, if one is going to hook up with cleat-chasers, I can certainly see agents advising NDAs for anything other than the most normal of relationships.

Not defending Alabama, or Bond, or anyone else.

First advice should be "stay away from hoes."  Next advice is "if you mess with hoes, get NDAs."

Note that by using "hoe," I am not saying this chick asked for it.  Or that that in any way absolves Bond for trying to stick it in her ass without consent.

Also, note that NDAs usually have a nefarious purpose, but if you make the reasonable assumption that cleat-chasers are looking for an advantage from or over the athletes they chase, an NDA, along with birth control, is one way to blunt that advantage.

Ran out of time to edit.

Or, maybe he didn't have NDAs at the ready, or advice from Alabama, or agents, but he was taking his cues from a certain person sometimes referred to as the leader of the free world.

Sounds like she’s pissed he tried to pay her off.

She's pissed that he allegedly ignored her "no" and violated her.
She's pissed that he allegedly blamed alcohol for his behavior.
She's pissed that he allegedly wanted her to sign an NDA.
She's pissed that he allegedly offered to pay her off.

She's pissed about how he allegedly treated her.

Well, that first thing she's pissed about is actually illegal, and probably rightfully so.

The rest of it is not illegal, so is probably irrelevant.

I don't recall a case where sexual activity was clearly consensual, but a certain act was not.  Maybe the more common "making out" but not fucking cases are analogous.

But if consent means anything at all, this was a non-consensual assault.

Is it somewhat less culpable than a no-consent at all rape?  I don't know.

or how much he offered.  $1000?  realistically with the way this will affect his draft status he could’ve offered her $1,000,000 and it would’ve been a bargain.

he’s barely a longhorn and it seems like he might be a rapist so he can get fucked either way.
