Yep

if people want to argue the big 10 is the best conference they can go fuck themselves.

Lol no. I'm for Texas. Fuck everyone else not named Texas.

I am not advocating chanting S-E-C, but it’s just stupid to continue the fight against the SEC bias now. That is so last year

That's cool, I guess... I'm just saying don't be a sec homer/fanboi.

Florida just got two wins in a row against LSU and Ole Miss…. They ain’t on there.
funny how that works

weak conferences should get one playoff team only

I mean all the recent ND faceplants are under Brian Kelly. His record in big games in the postseason is abysmal. Even Bilbo Aggins can laugh

Faceplants have been a staple of the Freeman era as well

Should go back to a BCS style but updated algorithm that takes into account strength of schedule.

The Big 10 and SEC champion get auto bid. The best ranked next 2 conference champions get the final 2 auto bids.

Then go down the line starting at 1 to fill in the rest.

That's the way it should be, but will never happen because CFB doesn't want to give away it's power to make matchups for TV ratings.

Yeah, Northern Illinois was I think the third time Freeman has lost at home as a 20+ point favorite, right? NIU this year then Marshall and one other in previous years I thought.

Maybe the loss against a 3-9 Stanford?

Kansas just beat a top 25 ranked team, 3 weeks in a row.

Which proves what?

Anyone?

Spoiler

That rankings don't mean shit, especially in a weak ass after conference

Or their OC finally figured out how to call a good game and their QB is healthy once again.

Rankings are a beauty pageant based on past performance not a predictive measurement, that would be a power rating like ESPN’s FPI

But blowhards in the media and on the internet know they would beat ND, PSU, and Indiana?  Did you consider that?

Spoiler

They had even greater confidence they would beat vandy and ou.  Alas.

While I do think Bama would beat all 3 of those teams. Here is the problem. Bama has 3 fucking losses. Those teams have 1. The results on the field have to matter.

I don’t typically buy into “media member X hates us” and that line of thinking.

But listening and reading to recaps of this weekend (and the last few), and it’s incredible how our wins are plainly dismissed in comparison to other flawed teams in CFP contention.

Penn State win by 1 against Minnesota: “Minnesota been playing well…good win for PSU”

Indiana 38-15 to Ohio State…”was closer than it seemed cause of special teams and late TD”

Oregon…”gutsy win at Wisconsin”

I’ve heard heaps of credit given to SMU and Tennessee for fuck’s sake, hardly a positive word said about Texas in the last month.

”if Texas loses to A&M they should fall far in the rankings…what have they done?”, while in the same breath saying the environment we’re walking into Saturday will be one of the toughest in recent memory.

I know I shouldn’t give a shit, we’re fine with the CFP, but it’s annoying me. Need to shut them all up over the next couple weeks.

I completely agree. You will get no argument for me. Notre Dame is the most overrated team Thin CFB. At least overrated SEC teams win when they get to the playoff. Notre Dame just gets their breaks beaten off and then everyone forgets two days later and we are subjected to the same bullshit 1 year later.

Then what is wrong with the rest of college football?  We haven't played a competitive game in over a month.
