You think Texas drops from 2 to 5, but drops from 3 to 9 having to play a road game at Tennessee?

no

I don’t think that’s what I said?

Clemson, Oregon, and Penn State don't have any defense up front like what we saw, but they're capable of playing up and Oregon has a much better offense than Georgia. Sark needs to be ready to make the difficult decision when it needs to be made. He failed at that today.

I think that’s pretty close. Accurate if bama sneaks in. If SMU makes it in I think they put Clemson a spot ahead of smu after today’s game b

I noticed that issue after I wrote it. So they will probably just leave SMU out to avoid that happening lol. Bama will probably be #11.

That is what you said. You have Tenn at 8 and psu at 9, meaning Tenn would host psu. That’s not happening

There is not much worse than watching a bunch of old white people sitting in a room watching 3 TVs acting like they know what they are watching and have any influence over what they are going to announce tomorrow morning … when everyone knows it’s other old white people execs at Disney and Warner Bros sitting in their penthouses that will really decide

They will SMU SOC was in the 70s. Alabama's was in the teens. That will be the justification used.

With this in mind

1. Oregon

2. Georgia

3. Boise

4. ASU

5. Texas

6. PSU

7. Notre Dame

8. OSU

9. Tenn

10. Indiana

11. Bama

12. Clemson

Works out nicely with no conference rematches and it flows logically. Puts PSU and Texas on opposite sides of the bracket from their conf champ opponents.

I think this is a huge reason why Texas ends up 5 and psu ends up 6.

Just don't make Texas a #7

#7 win in 1st Rd, plays jawja in the qtr finals

Why would we be lower than Penn State?

Losing by 8 to an undefeated team is better than losing by 3 in OT to a 2 loss team? It makes no sense but 5 or 6 is ideal given who 3 and 4 will be.

I'd rather avoid Texas, but SMU deserves to be in, so I'll take it. Just run it up and get the DC fired

SMU or Clemson at home .. then ASU in Glendale

Well the networks would certainly love those 1st RD matchups: Clemson @ Texas, Bama @ Penn State, Indiana @ Notre Dame in state, Tennessee @ Ohio State.  In a future where there is no deserve, only ratings this very well could be what the committee decides on though they could flip flop Bama and Clemson

If we are they’ll justify it because Penn State has a “current ranked win” and we don’t.

I dont think they would do that. They would want to avoid a conf matchup in the first round. Also Texas earned the 5 seed.

I think the CFP will use close losses as an excuse to create their rankings.

1. Oregon

2. Georgia

3. Boise

4. ASU

5. Texas

6. PSU

7. Notre Dame

8. OSU

9. Tenn

10. Indiana

11. SMU (or Bama)

12. Clemson

They could fuck SMU of course. But I think the rest will fall the way I listed.

Flip Clemson and SMU and this is how I have it.

Okay but we have better and closer losses than them. We also have a much better SOS and have been ranked ahead of them all year. Why would that suddenly change now. Also, we are Texas and being a helmet school gives us the benefit of the doubt.

We have also lost to the only team with a pulse that we’ve played.  Our schedule in reality has also been dog shit.

Would it surprise you to learn that, going into this weekend's games, our SOS was 3rd strongest of the top 12, behind only Georgia and Alabama?

We’ll see what they ultimately decide, but there is a lot of debate online outside Texas circles about whether Penn State and/or Notre Dame should be seeded ahead of Texas.  Really hard to predict how the committee will go, but I think it’s only realistic to assume ratings matter

He didn’t play another play after his helmet lost 10 yards on the play. Bet he’s in concussion protocol for at least a week.

There was only one play after that. And they have 3 weeks off now.

Dude, PSU wont be ahead of us, stop. Notre Dame has a better argument than they do.

But that was the case yesterday as well, and they had us ahead.
