Came into this league with Peyton & Brady entering their primes... pretty fucking bad luck for us.

So, now we're the badass ones, first win at Foxborough and the South runs through Houston. FeelsGoodMan.gif

First comfortable win of the year, feels like we're building towards our potential.

Texans open at +2.5 underdogs for next week’s game @ Green Bay. TBH I feel less confident about this game than any so far this year.

Mixon is a POS but he can run the fuck out of the ball.

Seconded. Man those field level clips of him running are ridiculous. Big, fast, elusive, effortless pass catcher.. he's the perfect addition to this offense.

Hits the holes and the hoes equally hard, ammiright? Breaks long runs and girls' jaws? Or am I remembering the wrong guy?

He just swings his arms wildly when he dances.

The Texans, my 2nd favorite team (like Oilers), are going to “Mudhole” my Cowboys later in the season. Best thing is, I won’t lose any sleep over it!

Cowboys are embarrassing at home. Somehow they find a way to win on the road, which this game won’t be. Expecting a 17+ margin victory for the Texans.

Nothing from Maye makes me concerned about the Patriots future. The guy had zero pocket presence and got hit at least a dozen times and sailed a few balls into defenders. Looked like vintage David Carr out there, holding the ball way too long, not making quick decisions, and rarely throwing more than 10 yards down field. Yeah his protection wasn't good, but he really didn't do much to help them. He was in shotgun nearly every passing snap, and didn't step up past the outside rush or roll out to get more time to look down field much. It's his first start, so plenty of time to get better, but this doesn't look like a budding Jordan Love or CJ Stroud level player. Seems more like Mac Jones 2.0 to me.

If I was a Pats fan, I would ignore all that, focus on the numbers, which includes lots of yac on short throws and garbage time, and hope he develops more. But as a fan of the Texans, who have been beaten down by Brady and the Pats a dozen times over the years, I'm happy they will be spending a bunch of resources on a guy who probably has a max ceiling of being Alex Smith.

In other news, Watson continues to fail for the Browns. That trade really will go down as the most lopsided trade of all time. It is outdoing the Hershell Walker trade, which lead to that team winning a few Super Bowls with the proceeds. Let's hope the Texans can repeat history and do the same with their bounty.

The team so far looks like they will be at least the 3 seed and hosting a playoff game or two. Getting Autry back next week will improve the pass rush even more, which is needed against the Packers. If Nico can get healthy, the offense will go back to lethal status, and hopefully he's back in time for the Lions game at least. The NFC North is stacked this year.

Not a great year for all of the NFC North to be on our schedule. It won’t matter for the division but could come into play for seeding.
