I suppose that would help but Mike White is the one that needs to recruit the pitchers.  besides TK our pitchers are extremely meh, that's on Mike.  given his background it really is surprising to me.

Yea but I think the hitting is even more surprising.

not grant it no one saw Vivi getting hurt and Bennett being forced but I honestly think White got complacent which I get but man just feel like it’s gonna be a season of what ifs.

like I said hopefully this is a lesson learned

Losing Bella, Vivi, and Washington was huge.  There's been no one to step up to replace them. Not even close. Yes, the class last year was small, but all the more reason you need them to be difference makers. Brister and Bennet should never have been offered IMO and that was obvious to me - a know-nothing baseball Dad - after an inning or two in our first fall scrimmage.  It seems like 2012-era Mack laziness to me.

I still hold out hope for Salmon.  She has a nice changeup.

On pitching, how in the blue fuck did Mac forget to throw a decent dropball in one year?  She's no longer a ground ball pitcher.  Teams are hitting her hard to the outfield now.

This issue with this team is that the entire hopes rest on one person's shoulders, Teagan Kavan. She has no help and if we are going to have any chance to win a title, it is going to require her to carry us all the way there with no bad games from her. Pathetic how bad Morgan has fallen off, not sure wtf happened there.

Pretty much every bit of this. The succession plan for life beyond Bella and Alyssa seemed lax. Vivi's injury was just one of those things that happen, but overall, I think the brass might have underestimated how challenging the SEC grind would be. In the B12 we could focus just on OU while letting LSU, TN, UF and such beat up on each other heading into the postseason. Now we're part of that grind, while still having to cope with OU. No, the Sooners aren't what they were...but at the moment, neither are we.

Q for those watching on TV yesterday: was blue squeezing us on the zone? Our fans behind the plate were bitching loudly all game, but I couldn't really tell given my angle.

The LSU fans by me were fine, but some further away were total jackasses, as expected.

At least the weather last night was pleasant . . . that was about it.  Bella Dayton was there, and my wife wanted to get a fangirl picture with her, but didn't.

Facing a lefty pitcher with a great curve and rise and we again lead off with . .. 3 straight lefties.  Might be a day to switch it up a bit coach.  It's not like the top of our lineup is killing it right now.

Getting pretty disappointed with Mike Whites inability to adjust this season.  Idk what’s going on, but this is level Mack Brown complacency right now with the roster and now adjustments.

I know she’s an aggy, but Amanda Scarborough is okay in my book. There’s some really bad commentators

If that’s in response to my comment, my comment was regarding the lsu coach

This LSU coach is playing hardball.

57 pitches through 5 innings lol with a girl pitching that walked everyone her last start.   Means you have no approach or it went out the window because Atwood hit a first pitch homer.
